Artist Deutsch: Gestochen von Johann Baptist Bergmüller (* 1724 in Augsburg; † 1785 ebenda) nach einer unbekannten Vorlage
Description Deutsch: Deutscher Farbdruck der Insel Sint Eustatius.
English: German print color of the island of St. Eustatius. Text in French and German. The shape of the vessels suggests the resumption of an older image, probably from the late seventeenth century.

As a peep show card it shows the header in mirror writing:

The island of St. Eustatius taken by the English fleet in February 1781. The island was pillaged by the troops of George Rodney Français : Gravure allemande en couleur de l'île de Saint-Eustache.
