DescriptionСоветские солдаты спускаются в берлинское метро.jpg Русский: Бойцы гвардии капитана Занки спускаются в берлинское метро на станцию «Frankfurter Allee», 113. Эта станция метро находилась в районе городского оборонительного обвода в оборонительном секторе №2. Окрестности станции были заняты советскими войсками ещё до 26 апреля 1945 года.

На фото бойцы 1-го стрелкового батальона (командир — гвардии капитан Г.Д. Заика) 286-го гвардейского стрелкового полка 94-й гвардейской стрелковой Звенигородской ордена Суворова дивизии 26-го гвардейского стрелкового Померанского корпуса 5-й ударной армии 1-го Белорусского фронта.

В публикации «Комсомолькой правды» упоминается пулеметчик из батальона гвардии капитана Заики — гвардии красноармеец Иван Григорьевич Мазюк, проходивший службу в 286-м гв. сп, комбатом-1 в котором был гвардии капитан Заика.
