Nicholas Grant Billson Cook (born 17 June 1956, Leicester) is a former English cricketer who played in 15 Tests and 3 ODIs from 1983 to 1989.

Cook made his debut against New Zealand and was a sensation. He picked up 32 wickets in his first four tests including four five fors and a best bowling of 11/83 against Pakistan at Karachi and was considered as the next Laker or Underwood. However Cook's next 11 tests fetched him 20 wickets at an average of 56.75 and he was dropped.

Since retiring from the game, Cook has become an umpire and in November 2008, was promoted to the ECB full list for the 2009 season.

Recently he was found to be drunk at the wheel, after a night out at a local pub. He is an open alcoholic. Template:Persondata
