Following a ] in June 2011, consensus was reached to provisionally suspend the administrative privileges of users who have been inactive for one year, meaning administrators who have made neither any edits nor any logged actions in over one year. As a result of this discussion, your administrative privileges have been removed pending your return. If you wish to have these privileges reinstated, please post to the ] and the userright will be restored per the ] (i.e., as long as the attending bureaucrats are reasonably satisfied that your account has not been compromised and that your inactivity did not have the effect of evading scrutiny of any actions which might have led to sanctions). This removal of access is procedural only, and not intended to reflect negatively upon you in any way. We wish you the best in future endeavors, and thank you for your past administrative efforts. <!-- Template:Inactive admin -->] (]) 20:19, 8 July 2011 (UTC)

:I'll be glad to adopt you if you like. I took a look at your contributions and you seem to be doing fine so far. Feel free to ask any questions here. As a general rule of thumb, let's conduct a thread on the same page on which it was started. In other words, if I leave you a message on your talk page, you can answer it there. I will put your talk page on my watchlist. If you ask a question on this page, I will answer it here. It's much less confusing that way!

:One quick comment: When you leave a message for a user, it's always best to start your comment with a new heading to separate if from the previous thread. Notice that I have inserted the heading "Adoption" above your message here. When you go to a user's talk page, click the link that says "Post a comment" if you want to start a new thread. I am looking for people who would like to mentor my students (who will be working in groups) as they do the following assignments: Edit and article (adding a citation), writing a stub with a citation, translating an English language article for Spanish Misplaced Pages and for the final project, writing a full article for English Wiki (they can expand on the stub mentioned previously). What I would like to do is put a list of "mentors/adopters" on my talk page as a kind of short cut for my students, who have limited time to get things done. The semester begings Aug 6, but the real Misplaced Pages work wont begin until the beginning of Sept. *I took a look at the user’s changes. I do think that you are correct that he should have sought consensus from the Wikiproject before making so many changes in those articles. However, I have to agree in principle with his rationale, that there is far too much unreferenced information on some of those pages. I also think that there is too much information, period. The pages come close to being a ], which Misplaced Pages is not. I would suggest that the project take a look at those articles with the eye to paring them down and perhaps combining some of them. You have a couple of possible remedies for the user’s actions. One, try to work it out with the contributor on his talk page or on the project talk page. Remember to be civil and try to work out a consensus. Two, if negotiation fails and you believe that the contributor is working against consensus, you can raise the subject at the ]. :Hello, Imageryguides. Glad to hear from you. I would be glad to assist you if I can. Do you plan to type the whole chapter into the article? Regarding the copyright: The author should realize that the text must be released under either a public domain release, or into a ] release. That means that anyone in the world can take the text and use it for any purpose with no restrictions. I would suggest that you first create the article in a subpage of your own user space, prepare it until you think that it is ready for posting on the wiki, then create a new article and copy the new text into the article. You can create a new sub-page into your space by creating a link like this <nowiki>]</nowiki> on your own page, then clicking on that link and editing it. Note the slash in front of the article name—that makes it a subpage of whatever page the link is on. Hope this helps. Contact me again for assistance. ●] • ] 23:53, 6 August 2007 (UTC)

:On your own user page, edit the page and add this text at the bottom: ''<nowiki>]</nowiki>'' (notice the slash preceding the name). Substitute ''pagename'' with whatever you want to name the page. Save your user page. Then you will see a red link on your page with the name of the page that you just added. Click on that link. You will then be editing your new page, which by virtue of adding the slash in front of the name, becomes a subpage of your user page. The name of the new page will be ''User:Imageryguides/pagename''. Put the text into the new page and save it. You can then use that link on your user page to go back again and edit the page later. If you ever lose track of your page or forget what you named it, you can follow ] to find a listing of all of your user pages and subpages. As far as putting the material in the public domain, it is not really a formal process. All it needs is a statement on the page that the author has released this material into the public domain. After you have saved your new page, let me know and I will take a look at it and make any suggestions. ●] • ] 23:54, 7 August 2007 (UTC)

I need help on the Morgellons article. I have been trying to make the article more balanced, more NPOV, but am meeting a lot of resistance and downright hostility. This page has a history of mean spirited nastiness directed at anyone who does not believe the disease is delusional. It is currently very biased. I tried to make edits last week and they tried to have me blocked permanently from the system. Please check out the discussion page and the article and let me know if you are willing to help. Yes, Turns out it's a pic of the mouth of the Umpqua River at Winchester Bay, the next bay north of Coos. I do see a Coos Bay pic on the USACE site, but it's an oblique angle that doesn't show much of the bay itself. I'll scout around for something. ] 00:09, 28 August 2007 (UTC)

I don’t need to remind you that your job is NOT to write their assignments for them, of course. If any students misbehave (tho I don’t expect it) don’t hesistate to contact me and I will take care of it. The goal of this project is to integrate successfully into the Misplaced Pages community. Anyway… what I really need your help with is helping students get oriented to Misplaced Pages, make appropriate changes and write about appropriate topics (see ] for assignments). I also need your technical expertise… I am only an English teacher after all! I appreciate what technology does for us but I am no technical expert!

Dan, you've been a tremendous help in the past, and I need your wikipedia knowledge, once and for all, to put an end to the struggle that I've been having, keeping Images from being removed from Misplaced Pages. <br /> Originally, I uploaded Book Covers, and included "Low resolution - Fair Use rationales" that have never been disputed. Sadly, all newspaper articles I've uploaded about the bands, and members, have been disputed, with the "fair Use rationales" that I provided for them. As a result, I re-uploaded them as the "Copyright owner - releasing them to the public"<br /> Now sadly, not only have they been disputed, and marked for deletion, but all of the original photographs from the 50's, 60's and 70's that are original prints, OWNED by Ken Kalmusky (whom the articles are about) - and inherited by his son David Kalmusky, whom I got the images directly from (They've been tagged as Flickr' images??) with complete permission to release the copyright of these images, to the public, through Misplaced Pages, for the purpose of creating these articles.<br /> now they're all up for deletion and I'm hoping you can help me properly get these images to "Pass" properly, and legitimately. <br /> thanks so much for all your time, and past help with these articles.

Suspension of admin privileges due to inactivity
Following a community discussion in June 2011, consensus was reached to provisionally suspend the administrative privileges of users who have been inactive for one year, meaning administrators who have made neither any edits nor any logged actions in over one year. As a result of this discussion, your administrative privileges have been removed pending your return. If you wish to have these privileges reinstated, please post to the Misplaced Pages:Bureaucrats' noticeboard and the userright will be restored per the re-sysopping process (i.e., as long as the attending bureaucrats are reasonably satisfied that your account has not been compromised and that your inactivity did not have the effect of evading scrutiny of any actions which might have led to sanctions). This removal of access is procedural only, and not intended to reflect negatively upon you in any way. We wish you the best in future endeavors, and thank you for your past administrative efforts. Notice of change
Hello. You are receiving this message because of a recent change to the administrator policy that alters what you were told at the time of your desysopping. The effect of the change is that you will not longer be able to request restoration of the tools because of your prior inactivity. You have until December 30, 2012 to request restoration or else the policy will prevent you from doing so in the future; you would need to seek a new WP:RFA. Until December 30, you can file a request at WP:BN for review by the crats. Thank you. MBisanz 04:22, 3 December 2012 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of File:1970Shichigosan02.jpg
A tag has been placed on File:1970Shichigosan02.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Misplaced Pages. This has been done under section F9 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the image appears to be a blatant copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted images or text borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. Misplaced Pages takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.
If you think that the page was nominated in error, contest the nomination by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion" in the speedy deletion tag. Doing so will take you to the talk page where you can explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but do not hesitate to add information that is consistent with Misplaced Pages's policies and guidelines. ArbCom elections are now open!
Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Misplaced Pages arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Speedy deletion nomination of National Radio Network (United States)
If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on National Radio Network (United States) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Misplaced Pages. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a company, corporation or organization that does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Misplaced Pages's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator.
