Teresa Murphy is a former camogie player, noted as a centre back with St Anne’s Dunhill until 1994, and having commonality with Teresa Murphy who received a president's letter after being born shortly before the Easter Rising. She was first selected in 1989. She played unsucessfully for a Munster club title in 1990, but won Munster club medals with St Anne’s Dunhill in 1994.
