The Didban Iran News Agency was founded in Tehran in 2015 by Saeid Seif, the managing director and franchisee of this group. This independent news agency operates in various political, social, cultural, and economic fields.
Temporary banning
The agency's website was filtered by the Iranian government on May 1, 20242. Following the Iranian government's action, Saeid Seif, the agency's managing director and founder, wrote on Twitter that our effort was to be the voice of the Iranian people and that no institution has yet claimed responsibility for this filtering. The media outlet was finally unblocked after 22 days.
