Citing the character box
Am I the only one who doesn't like the idea of citing allmost all of characters in the character box? It makes it look really messy in my opinion. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.109.2.63 (talk) 20:47, August 26, 2007 (UTC)
- We would have to remove the table otherwise, as the information we put must ultimately be attributable to a reputable source. Sephiroth BCR 23:30, 26 August 2007 (UTC)
- Couldn't you cite all characters from just a few sources instead of how many different ones there are. Then put below the table all of the sources used. Wouldn't it be ok to combine the complete fighter guide on IGN instead of listing individual pages? If so, then we could cite by game, which would help the chart.--24.91.28.221 06:24, 27 August 2007 (UTC)
- Doesn't work because confirmation for the characters does not all come from the same source. Sephiroth BCR 06:37, 27 August 2007 (UTC)

One tail not in Revoultion
It is beond obivouis that one-tailed naruto is not in revoultion so we can but an x there. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.223.226.231 (talk) 01:08, August 27, 2007 (UTC)
- Have a source confirming that? If not, then it's just your own original research, which is not acceptable for inclusion on Wikiepdia. Sephiroth BCR 05:56, 27 August 2007 (UTC)
Doesn't that apply to Deidara and Sasori? They have an x in their space, but shouldn't it be a question mark too?Darth G 22:03, 27 August 2007 (UTC)
- I actually think that's a pretty good point (damn loop holes). As much as I want to believe they won't be in the game since they haven't been introduced to English fans yet, it's original research until an announcement is made or the game is released. // DecaimientoPoético 22:13, 27 August 2007 (UTC)
- Oh my allah, you people and your rules, even you know that one-tail won't be in till sasuke retrival arc, and the us is not their yet. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.223.161.173 (talk) 02:22, August 28, 2007 (UTC)
- Hence, no original research. Too bad. Sephiroth BCR 02:27, 28 August 2007 (UTC)
STOP CHANGING IT, PLEASE!!!
One-Tailed Naruto is on Gekitou Ninja Taisen EX! When Naruto performs a ougi in that game, he transforms into One-Tailed, not Demon Fox!!! Would you people stop changing that? If you want proof go to Youtube.com and search for Gekitou Ninja Taisen EX videos, and I guarantee you that when Naruto transforms, it will be into One-Tailed, so please stop changing it, because I'm Naruto's biggest fan and I happen to know more about it than anyone (including the video games)! And next time I hope you'll eventually know the difference between Demon Fox & One-Tailed...Alpha296 16:25, 1 September 2007 (UTC)
- Mind giving us some actual proof? A video, maybe some little tidbits to help us differentiate one form from the other? Also, I don't remember if you were the one to change it (I'm assuming you are), but you can't simply change the letter; you have to move the little with it. // DecaimientoPoético 22:35, 1 September 2007 (UTC)
He's actually right about it being one tailed, but due to internet issues I can't put any video links. Just look for one on youtube, there's a ton of them.Darth G 03:15, 2 September 2007 (UTC)
- Youtube is not a reliable source, as anyone can upload a video. Find such a source and it can be added. Sephiroth BCR 04:42, 2 September 2007 (UTC)
meh, i cant seem to find a source, but whats better then personal experiance? Its pretty obvious he goes one tailed when he uses the non-rasengan special, why is anyone debating this? Domebody
- Statements made on Misplaced Pages have to be attributed to a reliable, verifiable source, especially in the case of the table. Furthermore, if you're going to take my signature, then try to change it more than a single color. Be a tad bit more original ya know. Sephiroth BCR 00:45, 18 September 2007 (UTC)
I have been looking all over and I keep finding only videos of one-tail in EX. They're on YouTube so I know you won't accept them even if it shows him right in your face. However, you say we need a reliable source to prove one-tail is in there. What I want to know is, if that anyone has a source proving it's only demon fox Naruto? If a source is required for one-tailed, shouldn't the same apply for demon fox Naruto?Darth G 02:26, 21 September 2007 (UTC)
GAC
I've bit the bullet and nominated it at WP:GAC after making a few fixes. Please improve the article in any fashion you can. Sephiroth BCR 06:26, 8 September 2007 (UTC)
Once again... STOP CHANGING IT!!!
One-Tailed Naruto is on Gekitou Ninja Taisen EX! There's an ingame transformation of Naruto coverting to One-Tail, not Demon Fox, you idiots! No disrespect but how come you people can't tell the difference?! One-Tailed Naruto has the red chakra surround him in the shape of a fox, plus the chakra is dark red. However, Demon Fox Naruto is different: the chakra surrounds his body but isn't in the shape of the Nine-Tailed Fox, plus the chakra is orange. If you go to Youtube and type in the searchbox: "Naruto Gekitou Ninja Taisen EX Wii Kakashi vs. Naruto," you'll see that One-Tail is in that game. When you actually go there click on the very first video, and then it'll show Naruto transforming into One-Tail instead of Demon Fox at the end. One MORE thing: if that isn't enough proof, go to Answers.com and search for a Naruto Gekitou Ninja Taisen EX article, and if you read it you'll finally know what I say is true, and please don't tell me later that Answers.com isn't a reliable source because it is similar to Misplaced Pages itself in many ways. Please may we not go through this again, okay? Thank you! Alpha296 20:18, 8 September 2007 (UTC)
- There was no need to make a new topic for this, but that's not very important. Some things I'd like to point out:
- Personal attacks will get you no where. People will take you less seriously if you continuously call others idiots.
- Making a new topic on a discussion does not change the fact that Youtube is not a reliable source.
- Answers.com actually copies text and even images directly from Misplaced Pages. Using them as a source would be like citing an article with itself. // DecaimientoPoético 03:28, 9 September 2007 (UTC)
No Confirmation
The Revolution list says Kiba, Jiraiya, Tsunade, Anko, and Kabuto are playable, but have no sources. I am unable to edit without my laptop(I'm using Wii internet) so I thought it should be brought up.Darth G 04:12, 9 September 2007 (UTC)
One Thing I Would Like To Say...
You can keep changing the list and saying that One-Tailed Naruto is not playable on Naruto Shippuden: Gekitou Ninja Taisen EX, but one thing I'll say is this: Until this is all sorted out and y'all finally realize I'm right, I'll keep on changing it regardless of what you say, because I know I'm right, whether you believe me or not. One more thing: we can drag this all long for years, so (no offense to anyone)but we might as well stop this because it's foolish and useless to do so. Thank you for those who have read this. Alpha296 18:32, 9 September 2007 (UTC)
- Again, no need to make a new topic, but still unimportant. You have yet to show us any concrete proof that your edit is the 'correct' one. All you've done so far is simply mention Youtube and Answers.com (two unreliable sources) and have completely neglected even making an effort to back up your edits any further than that. I suggest we start discussing this here like civilized users before the both of us get blocked for edit warring. Sound reasonable? // DecaimientoPoético 18:46, 9 September 2007 (UTC)
- I AM making an effort to prove that I'm right, but whenever I try to do so, y'all always regard it as an unreliable source, so what I'm supposed to do? Also I would like to ask you a question, Poetic Decay: first of all how do you know that Answers.com is an unreliable source when everything their articles say is true? I mean, can you tell me how they're an unreliable source and do you have proof that it is? Alpha296 20:56, 9 September 2007 (UTC)
- Answers.com and Youtube are unreliable sources because anyone can upload any sort of information to them. Their article on Akatsuki, for instance, is nothing more than a cut and paste of the same article that was on Misplaced Pages a while ago. Reliable sources include the information manual, guidebooks, and related official material for the games. Third party sources for acceptable video game publications are fine as well. Sephiroth BCR 21:39, 9 September 2007 (UTC)
- IGN, GameSpot/Spy/Trailers, Siliconera. These are all examples of reliable sources. Websites like YouTube and Answers, however, are not, as anybody can post whatever they desire (I'm not sure if you can edit Answers.com, but since their articles, such as Naruto Shippūden: Gekitou Ninja Taisen EX, come straight from Misplaced Pages anyway, they can't be used as a reliable sources. Like I said earlier, using Answers.com as a reference would be like citing an article with itself). // DecaimientoPoético 21:44, 9 September 2007 (UTC)
Thank you for pointing that out for me! Alpha296 01:36, 10 September 2007 (UTC)
Kabuto is not in Naruto: Gekitou Ninja Taisen 3!
Where did you get that information from? Kabuto is not playable in Gekitou Ninja Taisen 3! You got the list wrong and I can prove this one (sorry about the thing with One-Tailed Naruto everyone)! Siliconera states that Kabuto is not playable in that game, as well as Kisame and some other characters. Also I must ask, can anyone help me with something? I know the reference to the Web site, but I don't know how to provide a link to Siliconera so my theory can be proven. Can you tell me how, Poetic Decay? If you read this I appreciate it! Alpha296 01:52, 10 September 2007 (UTC)
Kabuto
I'm afraid to say Alpha is right about this one. Kabuto isn't in GNT3, and since the character box doesn't even provide a link to him, I think he should be removed, along with with Kiba, Jiraiya, Tsunade, and Kabuto in Revolution. 76.109.2.63 23:08, 10 September 2007 (UTC)
There's a source to confirm Kiba in CoN:R...
...it's from Kyle Herbert's blog (the voice actor of Kiba). http://gohanvox.livejournal.com/100560.html It's a post about games he's recorded his voice for, CoN:R being one of them. Do you guys think we could use this as a source? I don't really care myself because I know Kiba will be in it anyway and I can wait for an official source, but perhaps there's some really hardcore Kiba fans out there that come on Misplaced Pages, look up this article to see if Kiba's in CoN:R, and are disappointed when they see that Kiba is listed as a question mark. What do you guys think? Go ahead and weigh in.
P.S.: If anyone is skeptical about the blog actually belonging to him, it is... the blog is linked to on the sidebar of his official site. http://www.kylehebert.com/ —Preceding unsigned comment added by DaRk StRiDeR (talk • contribs) 01:11, 11 September 2007 (UTC)
- Well, I'll be using it as a placeholder reference for Kiba (until another reference comes out) then as there are no objections. DaRk StRiDeR 22:22, 15 September 2007 (UTC)
WHAT HAPPENED???
Guys, what happened to Tsunade, Orochimaru, Itachi and Kisame on the Naruto: Clash of Ninja Revolution list? They used to be there and now they're suddenly gone! They are in the Clash of Ninja video game series, you know. Alpha296 21:33, 14 September 2007 (UTC)
- Indeed, I'd like to know that same thing. It might have been a computer error, though I doubt that both of us would so suddenly run into the same, strange problem. I checked the character table and to my surprise the said characters were not listed, edited the page just a few minutes ago to a slightly older version (fixing whatever needed to be fixed), and though the diff shows no sign of the characters being removed or added, they have reappeared on the table. Like I said, it's probably just an error, but I can't be certain. // DecaimientoPoético 22:34, 14 September 2007 (UTC)
- That's true, Poetic Decay, but I just checked the list and it appears to have lost all the checks, Xs, and is nothing but question marks! I think someone should edit the list and fix it (I can't because I might be blocked for edit warring). Alpha296 11:19, 15 September 2007 (UTC)
- Something's messed with Misplaced Pages, it's the same way on other tables that use http://en.wikipedia.org/Image:X_mark.svg... we'll just have to wait 'til it's fixed. DaRk StRiDeR 22:47, 15 September 2007 (UTC)
- Itachi and Kisame are still missing from the list. 170.215.127.74 00:50, 17 September 2007 (UTC)
- I just fixed the list, it was a problem with Tsunade's character box. I moved her box to the bottom and that fixed it. DaRk StRiDeR 23:18, 17 September 2007 (UTC)
- Well, thought I did... even experimented with it in the sandbox first. I don't know what I did wrong... it looked fine there... please, someone check it out and fix it, it has to do with Tsunade's box. DaRk StRiDeR 23:22, 17 September 2007 (UTC)
- The Clash of Ninja Revolution reference wasn't closed properly, and it messed up the table. It's been fixed. // DecaimientoPoético 23:27, 17 September 2007 (UTC)
- Thanks for fixing it, I had no idea what the hell was going on with it.. DaRk StRiDeR 01:05, 18 September 2007 (UTC)

Good job, guys. Hmm... Chouji hasn't been confirmed? It'd be odd if they left him out, but I guess we can't change that till we see a screenshot. 170.215.127.74 01:20, 18 September 2007 (UTC)
Why not just put an X?
If it is true that the plot of Naruto: Clash of Ninja Revolution revolves from the beginning of the Chunin Exams arc to the end of Search for Tsunade arc, why not just mark an X for characters who weren't present in those story arcs, such as the Sound Five, One-Tailed Naruto, Curse-Seal Sasuke, Awakened Hinata, Deidara and Sasori? Also where did you find information about what story arc does the game revolve around? Alpha296 01:42, 18 September 2007 (UTC)
Because, unless there is an official source specifically stating they won't be in the game, it's original research which isn't allowed on Misplaced Pages.Darth G 04:07, 18 September 2007 (UTC)
- Alpha296, go here http://www.gamespot.com/wii/action/narutoclashofninjamvz/media.html?tag=tabs;videos and watch the video titled "Naruto: Clash of Ninja Revolution Stage Demo". The producer of the game, Yoshinobu Matsuo "Nobi", states in the interview that the game takes place from the beginning of the Chunin Exams arc to the end of the Search for Tsunade arc. —Preceding unsigned comment added by DaRk StRiDeR (talk • contribs) 05:12, 18 September 2007 (UTC)
GA review
Ok guys, I did a partial review and found these issues:
- Twenty characters will be playable in the final game.
- Should be WP:FN.
- Source #14 is broken.
This article is almost GA. I will try to find unreferenced statements. Carlosguitar 18:08, 20 September 2007 (UTC)
- Fixed both. Any other concerns? Sephiroth BCR 18:36, 20 September 2007 (UTC)
- Unlockable features in this game are acquired by accomplishing certain tasks to add them to the game's shop, and then using money won in fights to buy access to the features.
- This installment introduces the ability to change forms during combat. All characters now have at least two specials, barring Akamaru. This game keeps the shop feature from Clash of Ninja 2, although the sequel Gekitou Ninja Taisen 4 loses this feature.
- The game adds a tag-team mode (referred to as 3-man cell) which allows groups of characters to fight each other in turn, with certain combinations of team members enabling special attacks. The game also introduces the ability for multiple characters to fight one another at once, ranging from a 2-on-2 match to a 4-way brawl. Most noticeably, the game does away with the shop feature, and unlockables are now acquired by simply meeting certain criteria in the game's new Mission mode. Mission mode forces the player to fight increasingly stronger opponents under specific circumstances and with different methods of winning in order to complete each mission.
Does these statements are present in the sources #3, #4 and #5? If not we need reference. Carlosguitar 19:30, 20 September 2007 (UTC)
- References added. Sephiroth BCR 09:14, 23 September 2007 (UTC)
Thanks, this article meets GA criteria, but before listing I would to suggest a table on Reception section. What do you think? Carlosguitar 19:06, 23 September 2007 (UTC)
- It would eventually be put in, but the style of the table would have to be fixed to accommodate the multiple games. I agree with your suggestion though. Thank you for the review. Sephiroth BCR 19:19, 23 September 2007 (UTC)
