I am taking a Wikibreak right now and I do not plan to return anytime soon. At this point, I do not think I will return ever. The main reason is that the community failed to prevent User:Nmate from editing in a disruptive way and from attacking other editors and nations and User:Rembaoud from hungarizing English geographic names despite the existing rules. I am also too tired after all my fights with User:Hobartimus, who reverts even simple copyediting if it comes from an editor that he does not like (including myself). The environment here is just too hostile and there are only a handful of active editors of Slovakia-related articles, who can help with maintenance. I cannot write new articles (the activity I have enjoyed the most here) if I have to revert Nmate's "uncivilized nomad Slav colonists" in the 14th-century Zilina three times a day. There are far too many rules, but no one is really willing to protect them. I am sorry, Misplaced Pages is a voluntary project and we are all motivated by some enjoyment taken from our creative work. For me, that enjoyment is gone, destroyed by few obnoxious chauvinists. This type of users is reappearing again and again, the banned User:VinceB and his sockpuppets being the most famous example. It is just too exhausting to deal with them. I am not the first one, who decided to leave because of these fanatics trying to degrade non-Hungarian nations in the cyberspace. User:MarkBA, User:Jurohi, and User:PANONIAN have left for the exact same reasons. I wish I was more interested in writing about Iceland or any other country that is not part of the imaginary Greater Hungary. But I was not. I wish good luck to all my friends here and especially to those few editors of Slovakia-related articles, who remain.

Articles

Here is the list of the articles with my significant contribution. The articles that I created are in bold. Minor or less significant edits (many of them resulting from my persistent effort to add infoboxes with relevant information to all Slovakia's towns), redirects, and reverts of vandalism are not included. Many of my minor edits have also resulted from the maintenance of the categories International Relations, Castles, and Slovakia (including their numerous and often messy sub-categories).
