Is a bad idea. Do you want to see him blocked? Don't go starting trouble, sweetheart. It's just not worth it from your perspective. ]] 18:51, 25 October 2008 (UTC) |

I just have to say that Ada Lovelace is hot. What does this have to do with the above? Nothing. Which is exactly the same as your progress on it lately. Get to work! :P Ottava Rima (talk) 16:40, 19 October 2008 (UTC)
Hey...
I had no idea things would get so out of hand the other day. Glad you haven't decided to leave over it, and hope it doesn't dampen your sense of fun - I'd miss that. Kafka Liz (talk) 00:39, 21 October 2008 (UTC)
- Don't forget about us - we're waitin for ya over at Caspar David Friedrich......your turn.....Modernist (talk) 04:26, 21 October 2008 (UTC)
- Thanks for pushing for Panic of 1907 to get on the Main Page. I don't like promoting my own stuff, but it always is pretty cool to see it up there. --JayHenry (talk) 01:35, 23 October 2008 (UTC)
Cats
Hmm, I received a two-disc tribute to The Cure called Perfect as Cats in the mail today. This looks like it might be good. Thankfully no one dares attempt to outdo the Dinosaur Jr cover of "Just Like Heaven", because it is obvious that they would fail. WesleyDodds (talk) 08:51, 21 October 2008 (UTC)
- I saw Stereolab tonight. It was quite wonderful. WesleyDodds (talk) 08:21, 22 October 2008 (UTC)
- It's getting close to Halloween. What will be on your playlist? WesleyDodds (talk) 09:26, 24 October 2008 (UTC)
Re:Sig
Ouch, that hurts :) Well, I'm sorry, but It doesn't look right without bold, I don't see how it is annoying, I have had this signature and format with my old ones the same way. You mean No Way Out (2004) FAC.--SRX 22:59, 23 October 2008 (UTC)
Bury the hatchet
(copying over) The block was an honest mistake, the unblock note was a pity, and my over reaction was a bigger pity. I have a bad temper, and I flew at you, and yes I did misjudge the timeline. And I apoligise. If you accept this as sincear, I would hope we can let this behind us with no hard feelings and move on. Misplaced Pages is supposed to be fun, a hobby, but its easy to get mired, burned out and too involvd in detail that at the end of the day just doesn't matter. We both have the best interests of the project at heart, and I realise our squabbling does nothing at all towards that aim. And yes, no I cant spell. Ceoil 22:44, 23 October 2008 (UTC)
- I would like nothing more than to wipe any tarnished slate clean and move on. Thanks for your note; I apologize again for causing a mess. Tan | 39 22:47, 23 October 2008 (UTC)

- I agree; thanks Tan for letting this go. Ceoil 23:04, 23 October 2008 (UTC)

Funerary art
.. thanks for the kind words. If you want to, you can nom it. It really needs an Africa section, though. I think it will not pass without one. There's already more than a little material on the article's Talk to start one...
Plus other folks need to be consulted.. johnbod certainly! and madman...
This is one case in which I would appreciate a co-nom nod.... The prob with this nom is that it certainly needs at least two co-noms (me and john) and maybe three (madman). It'll be a crowd up there... If you wanna nom it, then you have the privilege of working out the details. ;-)
Later! Ling.Nut 23:32, 23 October 2008 (UTC)
- Thanks again for the support, every step of the way.... I have a boring meeting to go to. I'll ping the other two and point them to our talk pages.. Later! Ling.Nut 01:12, 24 October 2008 (UTC)
Holy minimalism
I wasn't "accusing" anyone of anything. Why are you taking this personally? The article was completely unsourced and it read like original research. Those tags aren't "pointless." They let other editors know what work needs to be done and more importantly, they let readers know that an article is not up to standard. All I saw was a deletion of quite useful tags with a flippant edit summary. So I reverted it. Now you've added some sources. The system works. Cheers. freshacconci talktalk 01:30, 25 October 2008 (UTC)
- You are severly missing the point of a collerabative project. "Accusing" is exactly how thoes tags read; please be more aware of the effect of your actions. Why not add the refs your self instead of tagging and runing. And to remind you, you did say this is origional research, which goes to show how much you know. In my openion thoes tags are a cancer, and extreamly disharntining to the people who write the articles. Cheers. Ceoil 06:38, 25 October 2008 (UTC)
- (YO!) Templating the top of an article with "may be O.R." and "may need references" and "may need more references" without discussing these ideas is intellectually feeble. The article "may be" original research?; so may every other. If you can't provide an argument (in terms of knowledge, in terms of time expenditure), then find a different way to contribute to Misplaced Pages. These templates were meant to be used sparingly for quite unusual cases. Then they somehow turned into the most counterproductive (article-related) hobby on Misplaced Pages, ever. Above all, using a canned edit summary that says the edit was by a program called "Friendly" is just too fucking much.
- Hope you're doing fine Ceoil. You didn't respond to my brief email. I know, I'm community leper now. Erase me message from your page if ye feel dirty. Whiskeydog (talk) 06:52, 25 October 2008 (UTC)
- I replied last night, Whiskey. Were working on Friedrich at last, about half ways through the bio, dreading the legacy section, as usual, ha ha. How arre things with you? Ceoil 06:54, 25 October 2008 (UTC)
- Yeah I just checked after I wrote that - replied. Keep up your good works. I can't decide whether you or JanHenrí deserves a barnstar more, and I only have this single one..... Whiskeydog (talk) 07:02, 25 October 2008 (UTC)

- Oh you tease. Me! Me! Ceoil 07:06, 25 October 2008 (UTC)
- The problem is firefox provides handy buttons so that you can visit a page, scroll in 1-2 seconds, and make a snap jungement, hit 1 button; bam Origional research! And your off to the next article, whith a higher edit count. Jesus Christ. Ceoil 06:57, 25 October 2008 (UTC)
