Shortcuts WP:RFPP WP:RFP WP:RPP Before requesting, read the protection policy. Full protection is used to stop edit warring between multiple users or to prevent vandalism to high-risk templates; semi-protection and pending changes are usually used to prevent IP and new user vandalism (see the rough guide to semi-protection); and move protection is used to stop pagemove revert wars. Declined I'm not really seeing vandalism, more a content dispute, or more specifically, a layout dispute. Some of the edits are by editors, so semi-protection would do nothing. The emdash issue needs to be properly explained to the IP editor, because most likely they don't understand the difference (I didn't when i started here), and there needs to be discussion on the best place for the certifications section, more than just using edit summaries. --GedUK  11:48, 15 April 2009 (UTC)
