The user has been blocked at least five times in teh past week for three revert violation and approached by no less than 5 long time Misplaced Pages users to resolve the dispute, but will ignore such requests and call users "wrong", reinserting disputed info. The user typically will add nonsense info to the article, then revert over and over again again changes made by other users. When blocked, will either create a new account or log on as an anon IP address to continue edit warring as normal. Has gone from the level of content dispute to vandalism at this stage. -] 05:52, 3 February 2006 (UTC)

*:I don't see how moving is "blanking" - and accusing him of being a sockpuppet for Geni is odd, given that Geni has obvious linguistic difficulties, which Midgley has not demonstrated. And he left a link to the material anyway! Surely you could have at least gone for some dispute resolution, right? ] 03:36, 3 February 2006 (UTC) *:I don't see how moving is "blanking" - and accusing him of being a sockpuppet for Geni is odd, given that Geni has obvious linguistic difficulties, which Midgley has not demonstrated. Shortcut

To update this page, purge the cache. For the old version of this page, see /Old version.

For blatant vandalism within the last few hours, please see Administrator intervention against vandalism. This page is for reporting vandalism for which an ongoing response is required. This primarily includes multiple sockpuppets, pages currently being heavily vandalised, users that need to be monitored, open proxies, and vandalism which requires study on the part of an administrator before responding. Accounts that have only been used for vandalism (with no recent activity) should also be reported on this page, so that an administrator can look through their edits. Please make sure to read the first two sections before using this page.

Shortcut

This page is intended to request administrator investigation of certain types of vandalism only. Do not use this page until you read the policies, guidelines, and procedures. For most vandalism, see Administrator intervention against vandalism.

Alerts that do not belong on this page will be removed immediately, without response, and without warning.

Pages

Repeated vandalism of a page by a single user should be listed at Administrator intervention against vandalism. This section is for reporting pages that are being heavily vandalised by multiple users, IP addresses, or sockpuppets. Administrators maintaining this page can designate pages that are likely to be heavily vandalised for a very long period. If you're not an administrator or don't regularly maintain this list, please do not add bolded alerts. Please use the following format:

* {{article|article name}} - brief explanation // ~~~~
Might have something to do with an email recived on the helpdesk from someone claiming to represent newsmax.Geni 03:49, 3 February 2006 (UTC)

IP addresses

Do not report vandalism here; for that, see Administrator intervention against vandalism. Only report IP addresses that are probably static (they may have a long history of similar vandalism), probably not shared among many users, and persistently vandalise. You can also report possible open proxies here. Remember to sign your posts and place new reports at the top of this section, not at the bottom. Please use this format:

* {{vandal|User_name}} -- Brief Description // ~~~~

*sigh* Please see above. For the record I'm not that user (or any other user) and visiting the page in question will quickly reveal who the real vandal is. I'll leave it at that. --BlueTruth 00:08, 31 January 2006 (UTC)
  • All P**fed Up Astersisks are missing in actual name, which violates the no offensive user names policy. He has been asked to change it but has not yet responded. Contributions seem to be OK, They're albeit rather trivial ones that relate to Tintin books but they're not vandalism. Arno 05:34, 29 January 2006 (UTC)
    • I'd love to have a chat with this user about his username, but you didn't tell us what's behind the asterisks, so I can't go to his userpage. Mo0 05:23, 1 February 2006 (UTC)
  • User:sigheil Contributions consist of adding prominent, repetative notices to point out that Jack Abramoff is Jewish, offensive username, user also posts similar 'observations' from IP:69.239.58.32. Main issue is the offensive username rather than the comments but could not find the relevant page.
It's Misplaced Pages:Username#Inappropriate_usernames. Arno 05:27, 29 January 2006 (UTC)
  • User 64.251.54.194 is vandalizing everything she touches.
