The episode opens dramatically, with the boys screaming for help while a male voice narrates the boys' misfortunes. Shortly after, the voice continues to narrate, revealing that it is the last day of spring break. | |||
As Stan, Kyle, Cartman and Kenny try to decide what to do on ], they suddenly find themselves in a unanimous agreement over a plan to try ziplining for the first time. Excited, they encounter the tour guide, who places them in a room full of people who try to force ] onto them. Following an over half-an-hour wait for all who signed up, a long and boring ] is played twice and the group is taken to a shuttle bus. Upon arriving to the spot, everyone is forced to hear about the biology of the trees in the area due to a single request. The boys find ziplining frustratingly boring and decide to leave; however, they are horrified after the tour guide tells them that there are 16 more ziplining spots to finish. | |||
The boys argue over what to do on the last day of spring break. However, one of the boys recommends ziplining, ending their argument as they unanimously agree with the recommendation, as they have never done it before and thinking it would be fun. After ]'s Uncle ], drops them off, an employee prepares them to go ziplining. He later reveals that there are other people ziplining as well. To make matters worse, they had to wait for at least thirty minutes, for a couple who arrived late. After then having to watch a safety video twice (due to the husband of the couple asking for a repeat), the boys, much to their chagrin, realize they have to take a ] to the ziplining spot. Meanwhile, ] is developing in ]'s body due to all the fast food he ate recently and the ] energy drink he is drinking to compensate for all the annoying tourists. This leads to Cartman farting a lot into ]'s nose. | |||
Things get worse when Cartman, loaded with sugar and caffeine from drinking excessive amounts of ], constantly farts; instead of stopping, he goes on to drink "Double Dew". After being further delayed by a free lunch, the boys decide to carve the word "HELP" in the ground and wait. Cartman gets a ] attack and tries to find a restroom, and one of the travelers points to a nearby horse ranch. However, the horses – used by another tour group – are old and cannot go faster than four miles per hour. The four friends decide to ride the horses anyway, but then the group stops for lunch, much to their frustration. Kyle notices a ] in the proximity, and so they decide to get a boat to try and escape. A ] warning appears, flashing to a ] sequence. | |||
Once they arrive at the spot, the boys go ziplining after one of the employees explains about the biology of the surrounding trees (once again, due to the late husband), but then to their horror learn that ziplining is, in fact, incredibly boring. After waiting for nearly twenty minutes for everyone else to finish, this upsets them severely, as they realize they have wasted hours of their last day of spring break. After learning that there are sixteen more ziplining spots to go, they scream for help. Cartman and Kyle later start arguing over who came up with the idea of ziplining in the first place. However, Stan, realizing that nobody remembered who came up with the idea of ziplining, breaks up the argument, saying they can make it out quicker, by deciding not to zipline again. But meanwhile, Cartman's diarrhea starts to get worse, due to him drinking Double Dew, a product that has twice the amount of ] and ] that Mountain Dew has. This makes him release ] onto his underwear and more farts into Kyle's nose. Later, the tour group stops near a ] to eat lunch. Stan requests if they can skip lunch in order to move faster, but the tourists do not intend to skip a free lunch. Having to wait for the tour group to finish their lunch, the four boys sit alone with each other with the word "HELP" written on the ground. Once, Cartman tells them that there's something wrong with his tummy, Kyle tells him to stop drinking Double Dew. But, Cartman says it is Diet Double Dew which contains half the amount of sugar and caffeine that Double Dew contains. After Cartman says that he has to go to a ] soon, Kyle tells him to release his feces in the woods, but Cartman says the blood contained in his feces will attract ]. So, with the help of Cartman's diarrhea the boys make up an excuse to leave, and tell the employees that their friend is really sick and bleeding severely from his cold sore (]). But, the employees say that they cannot do anything aside from ziplining down. However, one of the employees recommends going to a horse ranch near the ziplining site, saying that they could ride back. | |||
The ] turns out to be slow as well, and the boys snap. Cartman is blamed for his diarrhea, everyone is trying to recall whose idea it was to go ziplining to begin with, except for Kenny, who does not care as he is apparently dying from herpes. Cartman defecates into the water; it indeed attracts beavers, which the boys fight off, realizing that falling asleep might result in their death. In order to keep everyone awake, Kyle asks Cartman to share his drink (now "Diet Double Dew"), but he refuses to let Kenny touch it. Kenny dies from boredom and the three boys end up contracting herpes anyway. Stan reveals that he was the one who signed them up for the ziplining tour, in order to receive a free ]. Kyle and Cartman are outraged, and a fight ensues; eventually, they all have a ], and are surprisingly rescued by ]. | |||
After arriving at the horse ranch and ordering a horse for each of them, they realize that it is a another tour group, but on horses that cannot travel faster than four miles per hour. When the tour group stops near a waterfall for lunch, Kyle starts to give in to boredom. But Stan, unwilling to leave Kyle behind, looks elsewhere for help and notices that there is a ] nearby. He then says they should get on a boat, thinking it will be fun and nothing will go wrong. | |||
In the ], Kenny's body is delivered to his family. Stan and Cartman are treated for their cold sores, and Kyle is hospitalized due to Cartman's feces stuck in his nose following Cartman's incessant farting. Motivated to raise awareness about the boredom risks of ziplining, Stan makes a video, but ends up ], like in the ]. | |||
The screen then flashes to a warning about ], stating that the program contains graphical reenactments that may be disturbing to some audience members. The next scenes are depicted in live action with adult actors portraying the boys. They realize they made another mistake, as the 42-foot ] is allowed to go only five miles per hour, making the trip boring yet again. | |||
Kyle (Eli Bildner) later begins to claim that they keep falling into trouble because of Cartman's (]) diarrhea, which then leads to Cartman saying that it is not his diarrhea's fault that Kyle recommended that they go ziplining. Cartman then asks ] (Josh Beren) whose idea it was to go ziplining, who says he does not know and does not care (as he is dying). Kyle later prohibits Cartman from releasing his feces on the boat, as that may sink the boat, and tells him to release it into the water. Cartman then releases blood out of his ] (which actually looks like a reddish spray out of a pipe), leading to attraction from beavers. After getting rid of Cartman's diarrhea and fighting off the beavers, the boys realize that if they fall asleep from lack of excitement they could die. Kyle then suggests Cartman to share some of his Mountain Dew in order to keep them awake. But, Cartman refuses to share it with Kenny because of his cold sore (herpes). Kenny is later seemed to have died of (instead of his cold sore) boredom, while the other three have also contracted cold sores (herpes). Kyle and Cartman are once again incited to their argument about who came up with the idea of ziplining. Stan (Michael Zazarino), now fed up with the drama, reveals that he was the one who recommended they go ziplining, after he came across a brochure for ziplining, four days ago. Thinking it would be fun, Stan acted like it was an idea they all came up with together. When Kyle asked why he would manipulate everyone like this, Stan revealed that if he signed up three friends, the ziplining company would give him a free ]. After being furious with Stan for using them, they all began to cry. | |||
Shortly afterwards, ] (who is portrayed by a piece of feces) comes to bring them back home. The animation returns as he takes them aboard his Magical Helicrapter, his ], and his ]. | |||
The voice, continuing its narration, explains that Kenny's corpse was left at his family's home, Cartman and Stan were treated for their (cold sores) herpes, and Kyle was put in the hospital for twenty-seven days, as he had to have fecal matter removed from his nose. After Stan was treated, he successfully raised awareness about the boredom risks of ziplining through popular videos, resulting in him once again ]. Two weeks after he was treated, Cartman begins drinking Diet Double Dew again. | |||

Television episode"I Should Have Never Gone Ziplining" |
---|
"I Should Have Never Gone Ziplining" is the sixth episode of the sixteenth season of the American animated sitcom South Park, and the 229th episode overall. It was aired on Comedy Central in the United States on April 18, 2012 and is rated TV-MA L.
In the spirit of reality shows such as Animal Planet's I Shouldn't Be Alive (and incorporating that show's narrator Eric Meyers), the four boys go to the Colorado Mountains to try ziplining, but their trip keeps taking unexpected turns.
Plot
As Stan, Kyle, Cartman and Kenny try to decide what to do on spring break, they suddenly find themselves in a unanimous agreement over a plan to try ziplining for the first time. Excited, they encounter the tour guide, who places them in a room full of people who try to force small talk onto them. Following an over half-an-hour wait for all who signed up, a long and boring safety video is played twice and the group is taken to a shuttle bus. Upon arriving to the spot, everyone is forced to hear about the biology of the trees in the area due to a single request. The boys find ziplining frustratingly boring and decide to leave; however, they are horrified after the tour guide tells them that there are 16 more ziplining spots to finish.
Things get worse when Cartman, loaded with sugar and caffeine from drinking excessive amounts of Mountain Dew, constantly farts; instead of stopping, he goes on to drink "Double Dew". After being further delayed by a free lunch, the boys decide to carve the word "HELP" in the ground and wait. Cartman gets a diarrhea attack and tries to find a restroom, and one of the travelers points to a nearby horse ranch. However, the horses – used by another tour group – are old and cannot go faster than four miles per hour. The four friends decide to ride the horses anyway, but then the group stops for lunch, much to their frustration. Kyle notices a marina in the proximity, and so they decide to get a boat to try and escape. A viewer discretion warning appears, flashing to a live action sequence.
The power boat turns out to be slow as well, and the boys snap. Stan reveals that he was the one who signed them up for the ziplining tour, in order to receive a free iPod nano. Kyle and Cartman are outraged, and a fight ensues; eventually, they all have a breakdown, and are surprisingly rescued by Mr. Hankey.
In the aftermath, Kenny's body is delivered to his family. Stan and Cartman are treated for their cold sores, and Kyle is hospitalized due to Cartman's feces stuck in his nose following Cartman's incessant farting. Motivated to raise awareness about the boredom risks of ziplining, Stan makes a video, but ends up "jackin' it in San Diego", like in the previous episode.
