WikiProject:REHAB update
You signed up for WikiProject User Rehab
Hi there, I'm RDN1F. It's come to my attention that you've signed up for WikiProject Rehab, but since that time the project has retired. I've decided to take it upon myself to rejuvenate the project - but I could do with your help. If you are still willing to help mentor (or even give me a hand in bringing this project back!) leave a message on my talk page

A heads-up that IP block exemption has been removed from your account, as it no longer appears necessary. Feel free to request it back if you find yourself hindered by IP hardblocks in future. WilliamH (talk) 16:14, 3 March 2013 (UTC)

Main Page appearance: Russell T Davies
This is a note to let the main editors of Russell T Davies know that the article will be appearing as today's featured article on April 27, 2013. If this article needs any attention or maintenance, it would be preferable if that could be done before its appearance on the Main Page. If you prefer that the article appear as TFA on a different date, or not at all, please ask featured article director Raul654 (talk · contribs) or one of his delegates (Dabomb87 (talk · contribs), Gimmetoo (talk · contribs), and Bencherlite (talk · contribs)), or start a discussion at Misplaced Pages talk:Today's featured article/requests. You can view the TFA blurb at Misplaced Pages:Today's featured article/April 27, 2013. If it needs tweaking, or if it needs rewording to match improvements to the article between now and its main page appearance, please edit it, following the instructions at Misplaced Pages:Today's featured article/requests/instructions. The blurb as it stands now is below:
Russell T Davies (born 1963) is a Welsh television producer and screenwriter notable for the 2005 revival of the classic British science fiction series Doctor Who. Born in Swansea, Davies joined the BBC's children's department on a part-time basis in 1985 and eventually wrote two series for the network, Dark Season and Century Falls. As a freelance writer in the mid-1990s, Davies' early scripts explored concepts of religion and sexuality among various backdrops: Springhill was a soap drama about a Catholic family in contemporary Liverpool; The Grand explored society's opinion of contemporary subjects during the interwar period; and Queer as Folk, his first prolific series, recreated his experiences in the Manchester gay scene. Works during the 2000s include Bob & Rose, which portrayed a gay man who fell in love with a woman, The Second Coming, which focused on the second coming and deicide of Jesus Christ, and Casanova, an adaptation of the Venetian lover's complete memoirs. Davies became the executive producer of the revived Doctor Who series in 2005 and oversaw a surge in popularity that led to the production of two spin-off series: Torchwood and The Sarah Jane Adventures. Disambiguation link notification for June 15
Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Misplaced Pages appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited IOS 7, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Siri (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

You promised a response and a new hook for this DYK nomination within a week, and it's been almost three now with no action. Absent a new hook and some sort of response soon, we'll have to close the nomination. Please respond as soon as possible. Many thanks. BlueMoonset (talk) 17:31, 8 July 2013 (UTC)
DYK for IOS 7
On 20 July 2013, Did you know? was updated with a fact from the article IOS 7, which you created or substantially expanded. The fact was ... that iOS 7 will feature fewer skeuomorphic elements than previous versions? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/IOS 7. You are welcome to check how many hits the article got while on the front page (here's how, quick check) and it will be added to DYKSTATS if it got over 5,000. If you know of another interesting fact from a recently created article, then please suggest it on the Did you know? talk page. |

Advice
Don't mess this up or become tense over it. I just plowed through the archives for a few mentions that back your assertions and tried to help. Taking a hardline is not in your interest, and I believe the 7 sources I mentioned help prove that your actions were not without considerable thought. You'd do well to strike or remove your confronting posts because not all editors see the content dispute and behavior as separate matters. Your behavior matters more then the content issue at this point, even if they are wrong, you want to move forward and not stay in the past. I added sources for the content dispute side, maybe an effective counter even, but that should be enough for future eyes to make a decision provided you don't become confrontational over the old issue. ChrisGualtieri (talk) 01:02, 23 August 2013 (UTC)
- Yes, indeed. As I mentioned, I'm still extremely bitter about the way I was treated during the topic ban discussion and the talk page discussions leading up to it. As a trans woman myself, who had not come out on Misplaced Pages at the time, I did find the level of discussion rather personally offensive; being called "a repulsive lying bigot" and having my intentions as an a LGBT person called into question still rather hurts, and I never received an apology for it. Sceptre 01:14, 23 August 2013 (UTC)
- It is sad, personal attacks hurt regardless of the intention behind them. I've got my own long running dispute to worry about, but for what's it worth, try to move forward whenever possible. It's what everyone should do, ideally. ChrisGualtieri (talk) 01:19, 23 August 2013 (UTC)
Preferred gender pronouns
Hi Sceptre, I was hoping that I could just ask what your preferred gender pronouns are so I don't accidentally use the wrong ones. I assume it would be the she-series, but it's better safe to ask than accidentally use the wrong ones. Thanks, NW (Talk) 03:02, 23 August 2013 (UTC)
- Yes, that would be fine. :) The silent coming out is taking people by surprise, isn't it? Sceptre 03:05, 23 August 2013 (UTC)
Block
I have blocked you for 12 hours per this edit that violated your topic ban. (Per our discussion on irc earlier) This is an Arbitration Enforcement block under this remedy and has to be specially appealed. --Guerillero | My Talk 03:08, 23 August 2013 (UTC)ere
