Jošavka (river) is one of the major tributaries of Vrbanja river. It rises on the northeast slopes Uzlomac mountain (about 500 m above see level); flowing through the same name and several villages. In fact, it originates from two streams on the slopes of Uzlomac mountain. There are a total of 17 tributaries. Among the biggest are right: Stanikova rijeka, Jelovača, Malevica, Grabov potok, Gozna and Savića potok, and left: Jevđevića potok, Crna rijeka, Repušnica and Balatin.

The river bed is unregulated, which leads to frequent flooding, especially at the mouth is in Čelinac area.(May, 15. 2014, and June, 8 2014, for example.

From Čelinac upstream, mostly valleys Jošavka passing traffic corridor where railway Banja Luka -Doboj - Sarajevo - Ploče and local roads through Ukrina settlement (down the Ukrina) to Doboj.
