I don't know why Blacksoxfan keeps moving Beckett down to get CardPricer listed at the top of the external links. Beckett is well-known, almost certainly the most widely used pricing information in the field. CardPricer I've never heard of, it appears to be a new and almost entirely undeveloped site (try clicking on most of the links and all you get is a "Coming soon" message). As a result, I'm led to conclude that this is an attempt to spam links to the site in order to inflate its importance and search engine rankings. So I'm now going to remove it entirely as linkspam. --] 05:50, 19 June 2006 (UTC)
I don't know why you keep fighting with me..... i used to use deliafamily.net for image resources...it then became a part of cardpricer.com (go to the deliafamily.net page and you'll see). It's a great resource for images which is why i moved it next to oldcardboard .... another information sight. I add links to the black sox pages so that people can check out my wide variety of cards ... people are interested in this... i don't make any money of the site so what do you care. besides, it is completely appropriate according to the wiki help pages. Thanks but no thanks.
:The fact that your material doesn't have a stable location is another reason not to link to it. We want reliable, high-quality links that will remain useful in the future for readers of this article. It should not be treated as a directory for you to list yourself. --] 19:06, 22 June 2006 (UTC)
What are you talking about stable???? deliafamily.net has been around for quite some time, it was acquired if you read the message on there. Is there some reason you don't want people to be able to view 30,000+ images of baseball cards????
:By stable, I mean a site with a consistent URL and actual content we can look at and provide a short description of to accompany the link. And that's an absolute bare minimum requirement, whether any link gets included is an editorial judgment that should favor a limited selection of relevant, high-quality sites. There aren't 30,000+ images of baseball cards that I can find on cardpricer.com; in fact, there aren't any at all. There's the facade of a home page for which most of the links don't work, and nothing substantive at all. --] 05:04, 23 June 2006 (UTC)

Someone please explain how baseball card condition is described e.g. the difference between mint and near mint, GEM, etc.. Are there any standards?
I found this... http://www.sportscardfun.com/baseball-card-grading-bgs.asp

Leaf
I am interested in seeing more information on Leaf Candy Company's place in the history of baseball cards. I believe they were somewhat important in the 1940's-50's. ike9898 17:00, 9 March 2006 (UTC)
