I tried "dispute resolution". But somebody refuses to budge. Now I have been involved in that scene for 24 years and I am telling you that Gothic music and Gothic rock are not the same thing. The only sites that exist on the matter are so called "fan sites" because that's all that exists in "music fan culture". I have lived this lifestyle for longer than many people who edit on this site have been alive. So mine is not "original research" it's first hand experience that has lasted over two decades.

Consensus means nothing when 95% of the people who use the word "Goth" and think that they know what it means don't know their asses from a hole in the ground and wouldn't know Goth if they walked in on it sodomizing their mother.

Oh, and I don't appreciated your tone. You do not "warn" me and you sure as hell don't threaten me. Got it?

If you care about where people who go to the Gothic music page wind up, I'd suggest you follow dispute resolution. If you persist in reverting it without following dispute resolution after your block expires, you will be blocked again, for a longer period of time. We have policies and guidelines concerning both behavior and article development on Misplaced Pages; disrupting the project by failing to follow those is likely to result in the suspension of your editing privileges. Note that these behavioral policies also govern your interactions with other editors. Such behavior can result in your being blocked all on its own.
