"news content conceded by Heraldsun to be in error"

Oh?

Where was this conceded, please?

Bear in mind, that's not a rhetorical question. If it really ''was'' conceded, then by all means that should be included in the article. ] (]) 18:02, 3 March 2010 (UTC)

Welcome

Welcome to Misplaced Pages. Take a look at the welcome page. To stay in Misplaced Pages, an article has to be about something notable, that is, of general interest. Click on Notability for an explanation of what that means. Also, it must give independently verifiable sources. Articles that don't meet these requirements are likely to be deleted. Speedy deletion of Slouch hat chocolates

A tag has been placed on Slouch hat chocolates, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Misplaced Pages. This has been done under section G1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to have no meaningful content or history, and the text is unsalvageably incoherent. If the page you created was a test, please use the sandbox for any other experiments you would like to do. Feel free to leave a message on my talk page if you have any questions about this.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Misplaced Pages's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the article does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that a copy be emailed to you. Nomoskedasticity (talk) 11:15, 4 October 2008 (UTC)

File source and copyright licensing problem with File:SamthekoalaCakes&BiscuitsTM.jpg

File Copyright problem
File Copyright problem

Thanks for uploading File:SamthekoalaCakes&BiscuitsTM.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, their copyright should also be acknowledged.

As well as adding the source, we also need to know the terms of the license that the copyright holder has published the file under, usually done by adding a licensing tag. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Misplaced Pages:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Misplaced Pages:Image copyright tags#Fair use. See Misplaced Pages:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged files may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the file is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Misplaced Pages:Fair use) then the file will be deleted 48 hours after 06:25, 30 January 2010 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. ww2censor (talk) 06:25, 30 January 2010 (UTC)

File copyright problem with File:SamthekoalaChocolatesTM.png

Thank you for uploading File:SamthekoalaChocolatesTM.png. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Misplaced Pages takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the file. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their license and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. ww2censor (talk) 18:37, 30 January 2010 (UTC)

Sam (koala)

Hi,

I thought I'd drop you a note that I have asked for other editors to take a look at the editing on Sam (koala) and advise if it's proper and the article is kept balanced with appropriate weight to the controversy.

This isn't a reflection on you. It's part of the role of editors to generally watch over articles and ensure they stay well edited.

You can also contribute to any discussion here.

User page

I notice that your user page may not meet Misplaced Pages's user page guideline, because Misplaced Pages is not a home page or a place for a personal biography, nor a place to advertize a resume or businesses, and the like. Nor is it a place to write up about real-world disputes you may be in.

If you believe that your userpage does not violate our guidelines, please leave a note here and we can discuss it. As an alternative, you may add {{Db-userreq}} to the top of the page in question and an administrator will delete it, or if you aren't sure what is appropriate and what isn't, let me know and I'll have a go for you. However if it stands unfixed, then it will probably be requested for deletion.
