I haven't been able to find a source for this, and it does seem implausible unless a suitably odd definition of "Internet" is used (the first international connection of Usenet (to Canada) was a good seven years earlier, and the term was in use back then... If anyone does know what event it refers to and wants to add it back, feel free; possibly also add to History of the Internet? Shimgray 21:41, 4 Nov 2004 (UTC)
