The Aishiyeh massacre was a massacre of more than 70 Lebanese civilians, including at least 7 under the age of 16, in the village of Aishiyeh by Fatah and Saika; four people were executed and one was burned alive.

Similarly, the town was attacked again by Saika on November 5th, 1977, killing 41 people; and bombed by guerrilla groups in 1986 causing heavy damage without any reported casualties.
