You left no edit summary whatsoever when you removed a sourced paragraph from that article. Somebody named Dino showed up and posted that there are "larger issues" and we should not restore that paragraph. Would you care to reveal what those are? This is a contentious article where people have shown up pretending to be various people they are not. --] 23:11, 15 January 2007 (UTC) |

Please do not remove content from Misplaced Pages, as you did to Free Republic. It is considered vandalism. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. ≈ jossi ≈ (talk) 16:53, 15 January 2007 (UTC)
- If you actually are Carolyn Doran, could you please confirm this on your userpage on the foundation site? Thank you, Prodego 18:59, 15 January 2007 (UTC)
- I thought you all might like to know that Seand59, who edited this article a few hours ago (and was immediately blocked indefinitely for impersonating a Wikimedia staff member), is now known as Carolyn-WMF. Her account has been unblocked by Danny. She really does work for the Wikimedia Foundation.
- The article at AmericanPolitics.com that was allegedly written by TJ Walker does not exist. Click on the link you provided. It's a blank page. I believe that Misplaced Pages has been the victims of a carefully crafted hoax. I contacted TJ Walker and asked him whether he authored the article. He said, "Of course not." He contacted AmericanPolitics.com and asked them to remove the article from their website. They complied immediately. Dino 21:27, 15 January 2007 (UTC)
Thanks, Danny. The warning above stands, though, because of this edit. I will undelete a photo Carolyn uploaded that I deleted after the indef block. ≈ jossi ≈ (talk) 22:06, 15 January 2007 (UTC)
- My apologies, make sure to use an edit summary when removing text in the future, so that mistakes like these will not occur when you remove content. Again, I am sorry about the mistake, Prodego 22:15, 15 January 2007 (UTC)
