Tauqir Sharif, also known as Tox, is a British aid worker in Syria.

Sharif was detained by the salafist jihadi group Hayat Tahrir al-Sham (HTS) in June 2020. He was released in July, but subsequently re-arrested, and released again in November 2020. Sharif maintains that he was tortured while being held by HTS.
