Request to change short summary of SEO as it applies to search engine optimization.

I believe this may be similar a previous request. I will try to be more specific since that was the request on that response.

Summary states:

Seo or SEO may refer to:
  • Search engine optimization, the process of manipulating the visibility of a website or a web page in search engines

However, the Search engine optimization page it refers to itself states:

I request that the former be changed to this:

The latter is a more appropriate summary since Search engine optimization already states that indicating consensus has been reached, and the term "manipulating" means to "handle or control (a tool, mechanism, etc.), typically in a skillful manner." or "control or influence (a person or situation) cleverly, unfairly, or unscrupulously." or similar as defined by a number of dictionaries. SEO cannot handle, control, or influence a search engine. It is merely a process that attempts to improve visibility as the summary of on the target page describes. Further, manipulating has a negative context and the latter has a more neutral point of view. Only some processes of SEO may be viewed as an attempt to manipulate.

Additionally, SEO may also be used in reference to an individual who performs the duties of Search engine optimization and is titled as such as their profession or role in an organization or as a consultant if that is relevant enough for inclusion on this page.
