	Flip-flops are banned in ALL Public places, not just PB events. It is a matter of readiness for melee.
	Proud Boys was actually co-founded by podcaster Dante Nero, and early adherence rules included: Laying 5 bricks a day (talking to 5 female strangers each day), taking ice showers, and wearing a suit once a week.
	Dante voted for Obama and was a Hilary supporter. He left his role as 'pope' of the PB as things became more political, since the early instance was primarily based on self improvement and masculinity.
	All races were allowed in the original proud boys except for Aboriginal Australian - no joke - Gavin used a video of Aboriginal singers using unmodified wooden sticks as instruments to justify his policy.
	It is now officially a joke, since a half-abbo joined the organization.
	There is also a long-standing rule that it is not permitted to complain about or blame Jews as a group more than once per month.
	Ben Ratner, the camera guy, was the inspiration for the group, since he saw the play Wicked five times and saw nothing wrong with that. Gavin and Dante created the Proud Boys as a response to the Ben Ratners of the world. All of these facts can be verified from Gavin's show archives. ] (]) 18:04, 6 September 2023 (UTC)

Considering that: academic sources use "crypto-fascist" and "proto-fascist"; that the Proud Boys are not inspired by a classical fascist regime, but by Pinochet's Chile (which is not described as neo-fascist by most scholars, but is described as semi-fascist and/or neoliberal (see Pinochetism)). I suggest changing "neo-fascist" (X) to "crypto-fascist/protofascist" (Y). Alternatively, I suggest adding more context. 93.45.229.98 (talk) 08:00, 2 September 2023 (UTC)
