I got rid of the "signature line" part because "It's basketball time at the Q" hardly seems to qualify as a "signature line" (especially considering my roommate, a diehard Joe Tait fan, thought that a stretch). In addition, "It's a beautiful day for baseball" can certainly not be attributed to Joe Tait, and if it can, there needs to be a cite. —Preceding ] comment added by ] (] • ]) 03:21, 27 March 2008 (UTC) I got rid of the "signature line" part because "It's basketball time at the Q" hardly seems to qualify as a "signature line" (especially considering my roommate, a diehard Joe Tait fan, thought that a stretch). Joe Tait is also famous for his closing line, "this is joe tait...have a GOOOD night, ehv-ra-buddy!" I grew up with his grandson. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.242.249.240 (talk) 07:43, 12 January 2008 (UTC)

—Preceding unsigned comment added by LeJonBrames (talkcontribs) 03:21, 27 March 2008 (UTC)

This is an encyclopedic website, not about what your roommate thought or thinks. People are so out of touch with reality that it isn't funny. Go and read some actual books and find out what good editing and content is. 107.129.97.80 (talk) 09:10, 21 January 2024 (UTC)

"It's Basketball time..." and "It's a beautiful day for baseball" are most certainly his "hooks" as well as "Wham with the right hand" and countless others. You would not be wrong to consider those to be signature lines. Your roommate being a diehard fan does not make him an expert. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.166.53.5 (talk) 05:36, 28 April 2008 (UTC)
