N. Rajasekar started his career as an assistant director under S. Ezhil.He made his directorial debut with the Tamil film Mapla Singam in 2016.His next film, Kalathil Santhippom in 2021 and which was received positive reviews from critics became an average hit at the box office.In 2024, N. Rajasekar directed his third film Miss You and it was received positive reviews from critics.
