Patrick J. Chludzinski is an American politician who is a member-elect of the New York State Assembly for the 143rd district, which comprises the Upstate New York towns of Cheektowaga and Lancaster.
He is a decorated veteran of the United States Army and law enforcement official. Chludzinski is a retired Cheektowaga police officer.
Chludzinski defeated incumbent Democrat Monica Wallace, who had held the seat since 2016. Chludzinski ran on the Republican and Conservative Party lines.
Chludzinski described affordability as his highest priority, advocating for lower taxes. He describes himself as hoping to build bridges across party lines and from Western New York to the New York metropolitan area He also called for Mayor Eric Adams and state officials to reimburse the Maryvale Schools District for the costs of accepting almost 80 migrant children.
