James William Uthmeier (born November 20, 1987) is an American political campaign strategist and lawyer working since 2021 as Chief of Staff to Florida Governor Ron DeSantis. In 2024, he was announced as the state's Attorney General-designate, following the nomination of Ashley Moody to the United States Senate.
