Wacław Kostek-Biernacki (1882-1957) was a Polish politician, soldier and writer.

Activist of Polish Socialist Party. Member of Polish Military Organization and Polish Legions in World War I. Supported Józef Piłsudski's May Coup. Commendant of Bereza Kartuska Detention Camp from 1930 to 1931; later its supervisor. Voivode of Nowogródek Voivodeship from 1931 to 1932, and of Polesie Voivodeship from 1932 to 1939. After German invasion of Poland in 1939 left Poland with the government; interned in Romania until 1944. Returned to Poland, arrested by communist secret police, Urząd Bezpieczeństwa. Senteced in 1946 for 10 years for "supporting facism and responsibility in '39 defeat". Released after amnesty in 1955, died in 1957.
