Then The final category is "Masser Ani" that is given to the poor in the third and sixth years.These last two tithes are discussed more in the next tracate ] In the seventh year is "Shemettiah" their are no tithes given at all .These tithes were only given to the these groups or eaten in Jersulam during the time of Jewish temple and before that when Jews were in desert 40 years till building of Solomon's temple according tot he Bible. These tithes are just set aside to in Israel and given to no one these laws only apply in Israel. |
