County Route 85 is a north-south county road in Bergen County, New Jersey, starting out at Allendale and traveling north passing by Ramsey and terminating in Mahwah.
Route description
The road starts out at Allendale as Hillside Avenue at the intersection of Crescent Avenue (portion of County Route 81). As it goes north into Ramsey, it becomes Central Avenue. The road is still known as Central Avenue as it goes into Mahwah, until the Route 17 intersection, where after the intersection, this road becomes Island Road. Island Road ends its northbound journey at the northern terminus of this county road in Mahwah at the intersection of US Route 202.
