: I've had a look at airports flown by WN from PHX. I'd suggest that if a route is served only from PHX or only to PHX (i.e. unidirectional rather than bidirectional) then it should not be listed as a PHX destination. I've chosen the week beginning 10-Jan, as this avoids any one-off specials over the Xmas period. This means we can rule out Albany, Cleveland, Corpus, Ft Myers, Harlinger, Hartford, Jackson, Midland Odess, Washington Dulles. | : I've had a look at airports flown by WN from PHX. : Of the remainder with bi-directional flights not involving a code change, Amarillo is flown via Denver (a hub), Boise is flown via Las Vegas (a hub), Ft Lauderdale is flown via Birmingham (a hub), Jacksonville is flown via Birmingham (again, a hub), Long Island is flown via Chicago-Midway (a hub), etc..... which then rules these routes out if one is to follow WP policy. There might be the odd missing destination, but at least for WN, I'm having difficulty finding errors in the PHX article on WP. Little context in List of downloadable airline timetables
Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on List of downloadable airline timetables, by Masaruemoto (talk · contribs), another Misplaced Pages user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Misplaced Pages. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because List of downloadable airline timetables is very short providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Misplaced Pages:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles.
To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait before possibly deleting List of downloadable airline timetables, please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and put a note on its talk page. If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at WP:WMD. Feel free to contact the bot operator if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot, bearing in mind that this bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion; it does not perform any nominations or deletions itself. --Android Mouse Bot 2 01:39, 15 August 2007 (UTC)
Former airlines
Thanks for doing some of the ground work with removing Sterling Airlines from the airports after they went down the drain today. However, we have decided at Misplaced Pages:WikiProject Airports that the airports are not to include any "former airlines and destinations". More about this topic can be found at Misplaced Pages talk:WikiProject Airports#Should former airlines and destinations be included in airport articles?. Thanks for your understanding, and thanks for contributing to Misplaced Pages, and sorry for puting this on your user page instead of your talk the first time. Arsenikk 16:09, 29 October 2008 (UTC)
Blackpool airport
Thank you for your message. To be honest, I don't know, though I will find out. I simply copied all the info that was already in the article into the table. If I've made a mistake (which is more than likely!) then Il change it. Thanks again,--♦Tangerines♦·Talk 17:03, 30 October 2008 (UTC)
Venice Airport
Hey Pmbma! I regarding to message left on my talk page, and saw that Marco1990's edits to this airport. He may be a suspected sockpuppet of User:S marky 90, as both of these users have made simliar edits to this airport. If I were you, I would alert the admin of this matter. Have a great day! - I have tried making changes to he article but same keeps happening to me. It looks like he owns the Venice Airport article and when he's undoing our edts, he doesn't use the edit summary. Cashier freak (talk) 20:10, 7 November 2008 (UTC)
PHX
Hi Pmbma,
I do not agree if this was the case all other airlines AA, DL, NW, AS, UA should have their destinations list updated for PHX since most of them provide same plane and flight number service to a number of cities outside of their initial stop. The fact is if you look at all the airlines and their destinations listed they are all NONSTOP not 1 stop service. If it is to be kept it should be noted that AM MEX is not a nonstop destination for AM otherwise it is provided false information. ops sorry forgot my sig04:32, 18 December 2008 (UTC)Daltnpapi4u (talk)
I agree that AA, DL, etc... provide 1-stop flights out of PHX to a variety of destinations. However, most of these 1-stop flights are via a hub of the airline. Many of those flights on for example AA go non-stop from PHX to either DFW or ORD or another AA hub, and then onto somewhere else. Look at all those 1-stop flights, and then cross off the list all the ones which go via an airline's hub, and see what you're left with. I suspect you will be left with comparatively few destinations. Pmbma (talk) 01:46, 19 December 2008 (UTC)Pmbma
I agree with you on that however if the editor is only going to choose 1 airline to do this for and not the rest then the entire page is providing incomplete information. So why just AM? why wont they verify all those other flights to? thats what my problem is.. the biggest airline where they will probably have alot of work to do on is WN since they provide many 1 stop same plane service to many destinations outside of their initial stop out of PHX. And then on that note they should get working on all those other cities as well since WN also does this out of almost every city the fly to.Daltnpapi4u (talk) 03:23, 20 December 2008 (UTC)
Pick an airline (something relatively simple - not WN !), list the destinations (on my talk page, not the PHX page) that you think should or shouldn't be listed from PHX, and we can discuss in more detail Pmbma (talk) 03:30, 20 December 2008 (UTC)Pmbma
