Edit warring, final notice

You have already been cautioned about edit warring on Gothic music, here. The next time you revert the article without first having pursued dispute resolution, either by discussion with the other contributor or by inviting wider participation to establish consensus, I will block your IP address for edit warring. Please consider seeking a third opinion or otherwise involving other editors to establish clear consensus as set out at Misplaced Pages:Dispute resolution and Misplaced Pages:Edit war. You may wish to ask for participation at the noticeboard of a relevant music project, such as Misplaced Pages talk:WikiProject Alternative music. --Moonriddengirl 12:04, 14 February 2009 (UTC)

I tried "dispute resolution". But somebody refuses to budge. Now I have been involved in that scene for 24 years and I am telling you that Gothic music and Gothic rock are not the same thing. The only sites that exist on the matter are so called "fan sites" because that's all that exists in "music fan culture". I have lived this lifestyle for longer than many people who edit on this site have been alive. So mine is not "original research" it's first hand experience that has lasted over two decades.

Consensus means nothing when 95% of the people who use the word "Goth" and think that they know what it means don't know their asses from a hole in the ground and wouldn't know Goth if they walked in on it sodomizing their mother.

Oh, and I don't appreciated your tone. You do not "warn" me and you sure as hell don't threaten me. Got it?

I'm sorry if you felt my tone was offensive. It was my hope to prevent the need for a block. When your block expires, please consider dispute resolution. --Moonriddengirl 13:03, 15 February 2009 (UTC)

Yeah. Way to dumb down wikipedia even more by blocking the guy who was making sure the people who go to the Gothic music page don't get redirected to something unrelated. You're a mother fucking idiot.76.181.250.255 (talk) 02:04, 18 February 2009 (UTC)
