Ryan Martinie (aka "Ryknow" or "R-ud") is the bass guitarist in the Alternative Metal band Mudvayne. He is within a beholder's eye of one of the elite of bassists in the math metal genre. He is ideally known for his jazz influenced slap bass technique, as well as using a myriad of other bass techniques. He has also pioneered a new technique, using his double-jointed fingers to create a "semi-pop" sound. He also has extended bass solos at some Mudvayne concerts.

Ryan plays on Warwick "Thumb" 4-string (tuned CGCF and BF#BE) and 5-string (tuned GCGCF) basses (strung with DR Black Beauty strings), which he runs through Ampeg amps.
