Template:Rescue Lisa Gastineau is the ex-wife of NFL legend Mark Gastineau and mother of model and socialite Brittny Gastineau, her co-star in the E! reality show The Gastineau Girls, which ran from 2005-06.

Biography

A New York native, after high school, Lisa attended the University of Alabama (she left at age 19), and was a member of the Zeta Tau Alpha sorority.

At age 19, Lisa met Mark Gastineau (who played for the New York Jets from 1979 to 1988), and they married in 1979. They separated in 1986, when Lisa became aware that Mark was having an affair with actress Brigitte Nielsen. Mark announced he was engaged to Nielsen in 1988 (they never married). The divorce was finalized in 1991.

During the 1990s, the press reported romantic links to other celebrities including Sylvester Stallone, and Billy Idol. She was also linked to infamous mobster John Gotti, remaining loyal to him during his prison sentence and death.

Lisa has also worked for Fox's "Good Day New York" morning program.

In February 2005, E! Entertainment Channel debuted The Gastineau Girls starring Lisa and her daughter Britney.
