I understand that, but by saying that he's NOT a humanitarian is you stating your opinion. How do you know that you're so in touch with the humanitarian communities? Do you work with Youth for Human Rights, Invisible Children, Department of Peace, etc??
Humanitarian doesn't mean Mother Teresa only. It also includes people who are alive today that are involved with numerous major organizations and making big differences. I didn't say that. Humanity Healing did. He WAS named as an official Peace Ambassador. You can't incorporate your understanding of what a humanitarian is and isn't and say that your opinion is the final say. He was NAMED a humaniatarian, so I reported him as such.
Anyways, I don't want to get involved in the beauracracy this site seems to promote . You broke the rule you're citing by stating your opinion of what 'is' and what 'isn't'..

Apollo Poetry
Please stop adding Apollo Poetry, by whichever name, to everything he's vaguely related to. Do you have a conflict of interest here? It is odd that all of your edits are promoting him, and many of those edits put him in odd company. (Even if he could be called a humanitarian, he doesn't belong in the same breath as Mother Teresa at Humanitarianism#Notable_humanitarians). Before adding him as Apollo Poetry or Sevan Aydinian to yet another page, please discuss on the relevant talk page to gain a consensus for adding him to another article. Thanks! -Phoenixrod (talk) 18:45, 11 February 2010 (UTC)
- Sorry. I'm just a big fan of him and was excited that an article was finally written about him. I plan on getting involved with other people and pages as well. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Massmarkpro (talk • contribs) 11 February 2010
Why did you put that I have close ties with him? I wish I did! I spent days looking up all those resources and read all the guidelines and adhered to them strictly. I'm just getting started with this site and already getting turned off by it. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Massmarkpro (talk • contribs) 15 February 2010
- Are you addressing me? I'm sorry that your experience wasn't what you were expecting (it seldom is, at first!). I'm not trying to tear down your work or turn you off Misplaced Pages, so I apologize if you feel that way. Let's see if I can clear things up a bit.
- On Misplaced Pages, there are frequently single-purpose accounts that people use to edit one subject, and these accounts often lose sight of the bigger picture and the neutral point of view policy. Based solely on your initial edits, you seemed to be doing the same thing, especially since many of your edits were things like calling Aydinian a humanitarian. You wouldn't believe how many people have a tiny, unknown garage band and try to add it to every music article they can. I'm sure you understand why that's bad. What you were doing with Apollo Poetry seemed to be something similar (even if that wasn't your intention); I wanted to nip it in the bud.
- I didn't say that you have "close ties" with Sevan Aydinian. But I hope you can see how a new account that seems to promote him might have a conflict of interest. That's why I asked. Even if you are just a fan, your edits need to give due weight to ideas in an article. As such, because he's not one of the most famous humanitarians in the world, he doesn't belong in the humanitarianism article.
- Are there particular edits that you feel are unjust? If so, let's talk about particulars. Or you can raise the issue on the article's discussion page, as I suggested originally. I hope this helps. The links below are also useful. -Phoenixrod (talk) 06:55, 16 February 2010 (UTC)
