==help==
i am having probloms with asking reference desk. i am trying to ask where to find the future cast of wordgirl and it ignores it. I hope there is no nonsense about me saying "imdb is not helping me" help me please, thanks.

:Can you describe what exactly you are doing when you try to post to the reference desk? If you describe exactly what you type and click then we may be able to help you. The Entertainment reference desk is the right place for the Wordgirl question, for what it's worth. ] (]) 06:41, 12 September 2010 (UTC)

I type in the question: "dear wikipedia, can someone help me find out where to find the future cast of wordgirl, like in the upcoming season 3 episodes, because imdb does not have anything after "lady redundant woman gets the blues thanks." Then i sign the post, and when i save it, it goes blank and then it just goes back to the edit. when i leave the page, it's like i wasn't there to begin with. ] (]) 09:25, 12 September 2010 (UTC)

:It certainly looks like Misplaced Pages never received your post. Could you try again, at ], please, and this time, when starting the post, click the words "New section" tab at the top of the page, to get things going. If it still doesn't work, try using a different Web browser — whether you are using ], ], ], or ], try downloading and using a different one to post; and you can leave me a note on my talk page if none of this works. ] (]) 18:20, 13 September 2010 (UTC)

== Voice questions ==

Hi,

I think you did get a great answer on your question about Wanda Sykes. One thing about this Reference Desk is that it is made up of volunteers, and sometimes people ask questions where none of us volunteers knows the answer, or is willing to take the time to find a hard-to-find answer. The quickest answers come when the volunteers can look it up online somehow, or when a volunteer happens to be an expert on the question. The regular volunteers on the Reference Desk appear to include plenty of computer people, a dentist, some translators and linguists, and a seagull expert. I don't know if we've got an expert on actors at the moment.

If you are not getting quick answers on your voice actor questions, I think the reason is that the episodes you are asking about cannot easily be found online — at least, when I was looking for Wordgirl episodes, I was not really able to find any; so it was not possible for me to look up credits lists.

Anyway, that's why I suggested "going to the source" and trying to e-mail (or write, or phone call) someone at PBS when researching the Wordgirl credits.

Have you tried a Web based e-mail program like GMail? ] (]) 17:04, 16 September 2010 (UTC)

== Re:be careful please. ==

I meant no offense by asking what your limitations were. At the time, I thought that they limitation would be technical and now you informed me that they are both technical and biological. Now that I know that you are blind, I may be better able to respond to your questions in a way that is more helpful to you. For instance, instead of pointing you to a web site, I could take the extra couple seconds to post whatever information into my response as well. ]|] 12:52, 18 September 2010 (UTC)

==Zula Patrol clear up==
Can someone please help me clear up the question i had on the zula patrol cast (yes, voices again, shoulden't be hard i hope) I do know cam clark might be on the zula patrol, but i know that michael bell and Greg Bursan are not emmbers of the cast. the characters sound nothing like them. can someone clear up for sure who it is rather then who it isn't? ] (]) 10:47, 22 September 2010 (UTC)

==RE: WordGirl==
As far as Lady Redundant Woman, Amanda Plummer from what I understand auditioned for that role, but Grey DeLisle took over due to conflicts in scheduling between Soup2Nuts and Ms. Plummer. Hope that clears it up. ] (]) 12:21 PM US EDT Sept 27 2010

== "Silent treatment" ==

Hi,

Don't feel insulted that you aren't getting many answers to your voice actor questions. Nobody is giving you the "silent treatment". It's just that your questions are very specific, and those sorts of questions take a lot more motivation for a volunteer to research and answer. For example, if you're asking about who was the voice actor for one particular character on one particular show, then the volunteer has to have a copy of that show to view, and then has to remember to go look at the credits and try to figure out which role was played by which voice actor. By contrast, when someone asks a really general question like "How do magnets work" then there are probably 30 regular volunteers on the Reference Desk who can type out an answer off the top of their heads with little effort. Unfortunately, those relatively shallow questions tend to get more answers than very specific questions like yours. (Well, except if the very specific questions are about Star Trek or Star Wars. Those get 30 answers immediately, too.) ] (]) 17:53, 27 September 2010 (UTC)

== Just wondering ==

I often check out the reference desk to see if I can find something new to learn, and every time I see a question asked by you. How do you know so much about these TV shows when you are, if memory serves correct, blind? Correct me if I'm wrong, and I'll bear with you on your spelling. I understand how hard it must be.
