You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Greece. Users are expected to collaborate with others and avoid editing disruptively.

In particular, the three-revert rule states that:

  1. Making more than three reversions on a single page within a 24-hour period is almost always grounds for an immediate block.
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes; work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you continue to edit war, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. Dr.K.  20:04, 1 June 2011 (UTC)

POV

Hi. Please stop POV pushing edits in the article Mustafa Kemal Atatürk. That sentence is related with historical fact. So the present official name of the city is not important. The name of that city at the time was Salonica in English language, was Selanik in Ottoman language. We prefer Salonica because here is English Misplaced Pages. Not to break your heart, I added "(present-day Thessaloniki)". Thank you. Takabeg (talk) 09:30, 17 September 2011 (UTC)

License tagging for File:MoreasMotorway.JPG

Thanks for uploading File:MoreasMotorway.JPG. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Misplaced Pages uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information.

To add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Misplaced Pages. For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Misplaced Pages:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 17:05, 17 September 2011 (UTC)

Photos

Nice photos, great job uploading these! I just wanted to say you might consider uploading any further ones on Commons rather than here; that way they can be used on all other wiki projects too.

By the way, about the three above that were tagged by the bot, I assume you just forgot to say "{{self|cc-by-2.5}} rather than "{{cc-by-2.5}}", and these are all really your own photos? We just need an explicit statement of authorship there. Fut.Perf. 18:16, 18 September 2011 (UTC)

Thanks! Yes these are all my photos. If i need to do something further please let me know. Nochoje (talk) 18:38, 18 September 2011 (UTC)
I've begun moving some of it to Commons. You could help if you also added the meta-information in an "information" template, like this:
{{Information
|Description=View of ...
|Source={{own}}
|Date=2010-10-15
|Author=]
}}
This is helpful for automatized transfer scripts. By the way, did I get the location tag right on commons:File:Volos from Makrinitsa at dusk.JPG :-) ? Fut.Perf. 09:46, 19 September 2011 (UTC)

Your edits at Greece

Please be aware of the WP:3RR rule. Greece is a highly visible article. If you try to insert the same change repeatedly, your efforts will be noticed and may cause unhappiness. It is best to obtain consensus on the article talk page instead of inserting the same change more than once against opposition. Thank you, EdJohnston (talk) 17:36, 12 October 2011 (UTC)

You have been blocked from editing for a period of 24 hours for edit warring, as you did at Greece. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions. If you would like to be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}, but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first.

During a dispute, you should first try to discuss controversial changes and seek consensus. If that proves unsuccessful, you are encouraged to seek dispute resolution, and in some cases it may be appropriate to request page protection.

The complete report of this case is at WP:AN3#User:Nochoje reported by User:Athenean (Result: 24h). EdJohnston (talk) 03:46, 13 October 2011 (UTC)

Your recent edits seem to have the appearance of edit warring after a review of the reverts you have made on Peloponnese. Users are expected to collaborate and discuss with others and avoid editing disruptively.

Sockpuppetry case

Your name has been mentioned in connection with a sockpuppetry case. Please refer to Misplaced Pages:Sockpuppet investigations/Nochoje for evidence. Please make sure you make yourself familiar with the guide to responding to cases before editing the evidence page. Dr.K.  14:40, 16 October 2011 (UTC)

Complaint about your edits at WP:AN3

See WP:AN3#User:Nochoje and sockpuppet User:79.166.249.44 reported by User:Dr.K. (Result: ). There could be a very long block in your future if you won't negotiate with others about the images you prefer. Misplaced Pages is a group project, not a solo venture. Thank you, EdJohnston (talk) 18:59, 16 October 2011 (UTC)

November 2011

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Athens. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Please be particularly aware, Misplaced Pages's policy on edit warring states:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made; that is to say, editors are not automatically "entitled" to three reverts.

If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. Dr.K.  20:47, 6 November 2011 (UTC)

Thank you

For this. I also see a great improvement overall in your edits. It is really appreciated. Take care. Dr.K.  17:48, 12 December 2011 (UTC)

Eastern and Western Europe

Please could you try to explain to Rejedef on Talk:Eastern Europe#Controversy and Talk:Western Europe#Controversy how her proposed section needs to be changed for it to be acceptable. Merely reverting her edits is not enough.--Toddy1 (talk) 22:09, 3 January 2012 (UTC)

File source problem with File:Ioanninaold.JPG

Thank you for uploading File:Ioanninaold.JPG. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, please add a link to the page from which it was taken, together with a brief restatement of the website's terms of use of its content. If the original copyright holder is a party unaffiliated with the website, that author should also be credited. Please add this information by editing the image description page.

If the necessary information is not added within the next days, the image will be deleted. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem.

Please refer to the image use policy to learn what images you can or cannot upload on Misplaced Pages. Please also check any other files you have uploaded to make sure they are correctly tagged. Here is a list of your uploads. If you have any questions or are in need of assistance please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. -- ТимофейЛееСуда. 21:43, 30 January 2012 (UTC)

Peloponnese photos

? Really? Did you think I wouldn't notice? Please don't do that again. Athenean (talk) 20:45, 18 February 2012 (UTC)

February 2012

Your recent editing history at Peloponnese shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war. Being involved in an edit war can result in you being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly.

To avoid being blocked, instead of reverting please consider using the article's talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection. Δρ.Κ.  22:33, 18 February 2012 (UTC)

You are edit-warring long-term and you were blocked before for adding exactly the same pictures. Obviously you have failed to understand why you were blocked last time. Therefore I will report you at ANI if you continue. Δρ.Κ.  22:36, 18 February 2012 (UTC)

I also remind you that last time you got blocked for 1 week for adding exactly the same pictures. If a block of 1 week was not enough to make you understand that you should stop this activity you may need a much longer one to prevent further disruption. Δρ.Κ.  22:52, 18 February 2012 (UTC)
