Christy Jenkins is a fictional character on The WB television series Charmed. She is played by actress Marne Patterson.
Character Background
Christy is the older sister of Billie Jenkins. She was kidnapped when she was 6 years old by Scather Demons because she is the key to "ultimate power". The Scather Demons kept Christy safe in the Underworld in preperation of the return of The Triad, a trio of powerful upper-level demons who were to guide Christy in the way of evil. Fifteen years later, Billie found her and took her to the Charmed Ones' Manor where she and Billie are staying at the moment. Billie began teaching Christy how to control her powers. At one point Christy seemed to be re-kidnapped by the same Scather Demons sent by The Triad while in Billie's care, but Billie went after her. While they were both down in the underworld, Billie convinced Christy to vanquish the demons. Together, with Christy's firestarting powers and Billie's telekinesis, they killed the demons.
What Billie doesn't realize is that Christy is working with the Triad, the same trio of demons who sent Cole Turner/Belthazor after the Charmed Ones. It is originally believed that they are the major threat the sisters are supposed to face. This is not the case, as Leo should have returned after two of them were vanquished. The remaining Triad member reminds Christy that Billie is the 'ultimate power,' whatever that means, and she must save her (in other words, turn her against the Charmed Ones). Unfortunately, Christy has succeeded in doing so.
It is very likely that the Charmed Ones will have to face both of them at some point in the future.
Christy and Billie are the most powerful witches in the world, second to the Charmed Ones.
Christy has the power of firestarting and telepathy. Christy inherited her powers from her grandmother on her mother's side. Her mother and father do not have powers of their own, but both carry latent 'Witch' genes which enabled their children to be born as Witches.
