WP:MMA
Thanks for helping to make MMA articles on wikipedia better! In September 168 people made a total of 956 edits to MMA articles. I noticed you haven't listed yourself on the WikiProject Mixed martial arts Participants page. Take a look, sign up, and don't forget to say hi on the talk page. |
Your recent edits
Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Misplaced Pages pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You could also click on the signature button or located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when they said it. Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 03:43, 6 October 2012 (UTC)
OK, cool. Wasn't sure how to do that.
Verifiability
Hello. I see you know a lot about submission and moves used in MMA fights. I agree with everything you say. But Misplaced Pages is not original research, is about verifiability. If a reliable source says it was an Americana, put americana. Thanks for your edits.

That isn't a problem. The same person giving me a hard time about that didn't seem to care that somebody else was changing rear naked choke to a neck crank. It was almost as if he was hating on me or being BJJ biased.

Fixing damage from vandals
I'm looking for an easier way to revert back to the original edits to fix vandal edits if anybody can fill me in. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Willdawg111 (talk • contribs) 14:54, 10 November 2012 (UTC)
- When editing MMA event articles, like UFC 154, please make sure the results table follow the same design as other events. Look at UFC 153 for instance. Your edits changed the column of judge scores, and those edits were reverted I think. Click "View history" on the article to see more info. Anyway, thanks for contributing to the MMA project! - I see the what you are talking about. That will make it easier to undo the vandalsim to my work. Thank you very much.

Warning for 3RR
Your recent editing history at Nick Penner shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war. Being involved in an edit war can result in your being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly.
To avoid being blocked, instead of reverting please consider using the article's talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. See BRD for how this is done. You can post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.
