Dari Persian
Please enter the discussion.. if you disagree then, that is something.. else blindly reverting without responding or discussion is not correct. The article was not deleted but simply moved to Afghan Persian and instead Dari Persian was moved to new Persian. Reasons were given in the talkpage. If you disagree then discuss it.--74.96.169.227 (talk) 05:30, 15 November 2012 (UTC)
- See below. Your behavior & lack of basic respect for common Wiki practices is the issue. --SpyMagician (talk) 01:46, 16 November 2012 (UTC)
Hi. I noticed you reverted the IP's edits to Dari Persian (with good reason), but that you didn't respond to the points he made at the article's talk page. I was wondering if there was a reason for that? — Francophonie&Androphilie (Je vous invite à me parler) 06:20, 15 November 2012 (UTC)
- Hi. It's a moot question. The specifics of why this IP editor was making changes meant little to me as I was on vandalism patrol. I really have nothing invested in the topic of the article. The main reason I was reverting the edits was a non-registered IP-based user was making some radical edits & that counts as vandalism. The specificity & Wiki-specific knowledge connected to the edits bellies the editor's claim that they simply didn't know any better. Further, the way in which they decided that simply posting a question was a "discussion" and gave that editor carte blanche to do whatever they please does not speak well towards their desire to be a part of a productive discussion. I believe that the IP editor in question should simply be blocked. Their behavior speaks volumes. --SpyMagician (talk) 01:51, 16 November 2012 (UTC)

Speedy deletion declined: Kryshen Valerii
Hello SpyMagician, and thanks for patrolling new pages! I am just letting you know that I declined the speedy deletion of Kryshen Valerii, a page you tagged for speedy deletion, because of the following concern: There is sufficient context to identify the subject of the article. You may wish to review the Criteria for Speedy Deletion before tagging further pages. Thank you. (✉→BWilkins←✎) 19:50, 22 December 2012 (UTC)
The Warlords
Did you read it? Does it "appear to be vandalism" to you after you've read and compared the versions?
I think not. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 220.255.2.161 (talk) 17:04, 23 December 2012 (UTC)
Re: The Warlords
Yeah, I noticed. Some of those IPs seem to have a history of disruptive editing already. Plus those edit summaries on this article are just purely unacceptable. Widr (talk) 17:14, 23 December 2012 (UTC)
- Unacceptable & psychotic as well. I genuinely wonder if this is someone who has control of an IP range or is there an IP VPN out there that creates that kind of level of new IPs flowing in. Regardless, thanks again. --SpyMagician (talk) 17:22, 23 December 2012 (UTC)
Hey there, Spy Magician!
I am also a User of Magic. You today changed my attribution of the Editor-in-Chief-hood of the AV Club to The Mighty Jagrafess of the Holy Hadrojassic Maxarodenfoe; this was, in my opinion, unnecessary (and possibly dangerous).
1) The Mighty Jagrafess of the Holy Hadrojassic Maxarodenfoe was indeed an "editor-in-chief", albeit 'fictional'. 2) His original locus (Doctor Who) is cultish enough to bear sympathetic resonance sufficient to allow his inclusion in this pop-cultural page. 3) We have no proof that the present, shadowy "editor" or "oligarchic syndicate of hooded goblins" is not in some way answering to an Alien Ceiling Monster. 4) Removal of this cautionary inclusion is reckless in case 3) above is even somewhat accurate.
Please reconsider this deletion. Misplaced Pages lost something magical and valuable when it brought the 'Drop Bears' page into boring consentual reality. Even Google had their 'weapons of mass destruction' page.

Talk page blanking, and also vandalism
Many thanks for your work in fixing vandalism. Just a note, you should probably read WP:BLANKING - in particular, editors (both registered and non-registered) are permitted to remove notices from their own talk pages, and reverting such edits in order to keep the notices in place is generally counter-productive.
You may also find WP:NOTVAND useful reading - "a non-registered IP-based user was making some radical edits & that counts as vandalism" does not sit well with it. --Demiurge1000 (talk) 10:44, 1 March 2013 (UTC)

Kyra Phillips
Dealing with users unfamiliar with Misplaced Pages policy and procedures can be a pain. While we are in the right, in the interests of deescalating this edit war, I suggest we leave the photo out of the article for a few days while Phillips or her representatives sort out the permissions issues through the proper channels with the Wikimedia Foundation. I can verify that they have started this process. This does not mean that other editing should not continue on the article in the meantime. Gamaliel (talk) 03:53, 3 April 2013 (UTC)
- Thank you for your efforts & diligence. But I do not believe that this user is a new user as evidenced by the sock-puppetry of some of the edits. I believe the article—in general—has had edits that scope well beyond good faith edits, but will leave it at that. Thanks again for the help! --SpyMagician (talk) 11:52, 3 April 2013 (UTC)
Ages of consent in Asia- your revert
The age of consent in India is now 18, under the new law signed by the president. Why did you revert my change?
- source: ]
read the source; it says:
"The law has fixed age for consensual sex at 18 years. Pranab Mukherjee has given his assent to the Anti-rape Bill, providing enhanced punishment for rape, making stalking and voyeurism criminal offences and fixing the age of consent for sex at 18."
"The law has fixed age for consensual sex at 18 years".
And do more research yourself, but please don't revert correct changes.12:05, 3 April 2013 (UTC) — Preceding unsigned comment added by 188.25.27.35 (talk)

- His edits are combative & dismissive of already standing cited references. I have no personal interest in this topic, but when I do edit patrolling & see such behavior, I will revert it & so will other WIkipedia editors. If you believe the edit to be valid, please discuss on the talk page of the subject in question. --SpyMagician (talk) 12:10, 3 April 2013 (UTC)
