Eurovision 2012
Eurofan2005,
I've noticed that you're updating the split jury/televoting result tables on the article; and I have serious concerns about their inclusions all together; more so when the article alone is under a good article review, which these tables could jeopardise that. The tables just being added en-mass without any written prose explaining what they are makes them look like original research, and that is something tat isn't permitted on Misplaced Pages. Also, they are not sourced either, which goes against verifiability, and again no original research. With this in mind, I have started a discussion on the article's talk page; and would appreciate if everyone on the project discussed the inclusion of these tables before continuing to en-mass add them. - Excellent, that is fantastic, thank you. Sorry if I sounded in a panic over these being added. I'm very nervous about this GA review for the article. It is the first time that I've nominated an article for this prestige Misplaced Pages classification. And from what I have been told, none of the 57 annual Eurovision pages have ever achieved this status before; so if ESC 2012 is able to gain GA status, then it would be a huge achievement for the members of WP:ESC - something which would inspire us all to work more effectively as a team, and to give us that incentive to continue to create GA-articles across the project. The past month has been an eventful one for the project as a whole. Old dramas have closed, new ones have begun. Four articles nominated for GA review, three of them passed and promoted, with one of them making ProjectEurovision history by being the first annual contest article to ever achieve GA status. If it wasn't for the hard work and the many hours of team collaborations that we have endured on this project, then those accolades would never have been gained. Each of those article promotions are as a result of your continuous determination to be part of the best team this project has seen for a long time. There is a teamwork barnstar with this newsletter for you to cherish and you may display the award on your pages if you wish. Now we look to the months ahead and start preparations for Malmo 2013, and see if we can work to getting another annual article to GA status. Here's to you - the team of excellence.

Please note that there have been some changes to operations surrounding Eurovision articles, these being that:
- Template names have now been modernised and/or megred into super-templates, for example Countries in the Eurovision Song Contest has now been merged into Template:Eurovision Song Contest making it even easier to find everything under one template. If you are planning to create a new template, please keep the standardised titles in mind. Other templates have been modernised and a full list of them can be found here.
- The Eurovision Song Contest and Junior Eurovision Song Contest articles have now been standardised to keep a consitancy throughout the project and to the genral reader too. Skeleton article drafts can be found for Eurovision Song Contest by Year and Junior Eurovision Song Contest by Year.

If you created this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either
- make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
- Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en
wikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here. If you take this step, add {{OTRS pending}} to the file description page to prevent premature deletion.

Hi, and thank you for your contributions to Misplaced Pages. It appears that you recently tried to give a page a different title by copying its content and pasting either the same content, or an edited version of it, into another page with a different name. This is known as a "cut and paste move", and it is undesirable because it splits the page history, which is needed for attribution and various other purposes. Instead, the software used by Misplaced Pages has a feature that allows pages to be moved to a new title together with their edit history.
In most cases, once your account is four days old and has ten edits, you should be able to move an article yourself using the "Move" tab at the top of the page. This both preserves the page history intact and automatically creates a redirect from the old title to the new. If you cannot perform a particular page move yourself this way (e.g. because a page already exists at the target title), please follow the instructions at requested moves to have it moved by someone else. Also, if there are any other pages that you moved by copying and pasting, even if it was a long time ago, please list them at Misplaced Pages:Cut and paste move repair holding pen. Thank you. - Thanks for the note. This is a common mistake. If there is no article or redirect at the destination, you should be able to use the page move function under the pull-down arrow just to the right of View history and the star. Otherwise, you should use a {{db-move|Dancing with the Stars (Greece season 1)|keep consistent article naming convention}} This goes on the first line of the page where the article is to be move. - I've undone several of your edits in regards to Kazakhstan in Eurovision. We cannot classify them as unsuccessful just yet, as they haven't attempted to participate. They have negotiated with the EBU once, only to be rejected. News reports state they are re-negotiating again. Thanks for uploading File:Eurofan2005.png. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file has agreed to release it under the given license.
If you are the copyright holder for this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either
- make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
- Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en@wikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here. If you take this step, add {{OTRS pending}} to the file description page to prevent premature deletion.
If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-en@wikimedia.org.

I've notice that you are using the Eurovision heart logo in your Misplaced Pages signature. Not sure if you are aware but images of any kind are not allowed per guidance at Misplaced Pages:Signatures#Images. So it would be advisable for you to remove the image immediately. Thank you for your recent edit to the above named template. However, I have reverted the addition, as it is not normal practice to show TBD on these templates whatsoever. These particular templates need to show actual information, and not "unknown" TBD's. Only add the host city/venue information to this template once the details have been confirmed at a later date. Plus as you will recall, your old profile DimitrisLoveIvi (talk · contribs) was indefinitely blocked on 8 December 2011 for similar activity. Be cautious and prevent falling into old ways again. - I'm not too sure about those sections either. Karlwhen (talk · contribs) has similar information and has been asked to remove the content, as has Claus Michael2 (talk · contribs), who's first account was blocked by Amalthea (talk · contribs) for using their user page to hold such content. If in doubt, familiarise yourself with the guidelines at WP:UP. If something isn't mentioned as prohibited, then in my opinion I'd be inclined to say it would be safe.
