Ryan Martinie (aka "Ryknow" or "Ru-D") is the bass guitarist in the alternative metal band Mudvayne (and former bass guitarist of a band known as Poorhouse which he played in during college). He is within a beholder's eye of one of the elite of bassists in the heavy metal genre. He is ideally known for his funk influenced slap bass technique, as well as using a myriad of other bass techniques.
