| And to address etymology, since you keep bringing it up despite no claims by me regarding the subject, the word "libertarian" was not coined from scratch. The term, liberty had an already established meaning, as well as the suffix "-arian" (a person who supports, advocates, or practices a doctrine, theory, or set of principles associated with the base word). Hence "advocate of liberty".
