Well, 1991's going better than I thought it would. I figured I'd start as 7TWO and a few more my subscriptions on Youtube are showing that year. Guess I am taking it to the next level a bit. Aside from me, you, June and Skteosk to a degree nobody's really bothered about H&A here as opposed to the other shows. Completing the first two seasons gave me that rush. The list will have to do for now because Information on those four guys is virtually nonexistant, which is shocking for Damian as he was a regular and was a key part of the Early-mid 90s setup on H&A (although he ended up playing 5th wheel in the Shane/Angel and Tug/Sarah dynamics). You're more likely to get Mag stuff on Ryan and David than Damian or Simon (the latter of whom was pretty forgettable and basically quickly drafted to replace Haydn as a mate for Blake) and they weren't even regulars. However, I suggest not ordering any more mags until you use the ones you recently shipped in to do the tasks you have planned. No pressure, I can scale it back to about second gear if you're feeling overworked. I'd say we're about 40% there. As you've got the Finlay stuff and the storylines exist in the article's revision history, she's spared from the list.

Isabelle was basically used by Nick on the rebound from Lou during the early stage of the whole Ryan business. I'll add her to the list of others in 1991. Hey, by looking at this Flickr image, it says the licsene is; "Some rights reserved", which leads to the rules,, which says that we are allowed to copy, distribute, display, and perform the work aswell as to make derivative works. Just wondering why the most recent edit was the one you chose to revert. The entire article's information is currently unsourced, as are the majority of UK chart-related articles. Well that would be because you added the information fifty-six minutes before the chart was released. I'm talking about the chart published online that is generally used as a source. What kind of attitude is that to take anyway - you should be helping to improve the situation by adding a source. Just because the information already there was unsourced is a poor excuse to be adding more original research. In addition, isn't the article in the unsourced state it currently is because of you? I looked through the history and noticed you have added a whole raft of unsourced material.Rain the 1 21:59, 24 June 2012 (UTC)

As I said before, I will begin to source the information provided by the article during the week; though UK chart pages have remained unsourced for years now, it just seems odd that you're both being critical this late and penalising me for it—I am merely continuing the work I took on from another member a year or two back. You said that you may decide to start adding sources, which is an alarming statement. I would say that the community in general would not think it odd I challenge unsourced material being poured into the encyclopedia. What they may find odd are your reasons for doing so. I'm not sure why you think there should be a time frame to ask an editor to stop breaking the rules either. Late or not, it needs to change AlligatorSky. It takes less than a minute to add your source alongside the information you have gone to the effort to add. I think it belongs in the development because casting is part of the initial creation - and aside from Rawle being spotted on set, the rest of the info will be how the character develops on his return.Rain the 1 18:13, 25 June 2012 (UTC)

Mayeb we should list her as past then. I do know she filmed more scenes with Texas before her exit was announced. Maybe they cut them. Oh, i get you :P. I think Texas will get killed by Silas, not by Lynsey's killer whoever it is. I can't decide whether i care if Texas dies, i used to hate her but i've started to warm to her, it'd make sense for her to die at Silas' hands. I love Mercy but i'm starting to wonder where she can go now, i hate to have to say this but i think if she is killed off then it wouldn't be too bad a thing. I have no idea who killed Lynsey though, I just hope its not Sampson, that would ruin the whole plot considering if he did kill her he has been in about four episodes and had no interaction with a much loved character who he then killed, it makes no sense for him to be a suspect. Always shipped Texas - and he non extistent relationship with Jodie. :( I've cut some of the opinions from hassan's fellow cast members from the reception section - Even if she wasn't a fab actress, they would say she was because they are bound to be bias. Plagiarism is also a hot topic on here too, so we need to limit the amount of quotes taken from each source. That is why we do not use them as a source, very poorly run website. I'd certainly include the fright night nom because Lynsey was central to it. It is a mistake I think. Above it mentions Aaron from Emmerdale's car accident. I think it meant to say "Lynsey should leave well alone with Silas." - sometimes when the free library carry articles over from the original source format errors happen.Rain the 1 22:10, 3 July 2012 (UTC)

Don't know if it is written down in any guideline but someone once reccomended that the lead be 3 paragraphs. Just my usual pick at the images being to large. I don't think Metcalfe's is needed either - sometimes you can have too much of a good thing and the section isn't very big. Cut the caption down in Hassan's image too. Thanks i'll fix them, i only added the images to try to stop it looking bland, we might need to add Metcalfe's back if shes the killer. I'll merge the lead into 2 paragraphs. What about the characterisation quote from E4, can that be cut down more, i can't think how without it becoming babble. I find it increasingly hard to use those quotes form the profiles because the web team write like their audience watch ceebeebies. Most of the quote isn't characterisation and just a run through of her storylines - As short as I'd go is something like..

"Don't let Lynsey's delicate exterior fool you: inside was the heart and courage of a lion! I think the way it does on Poppy's would be hard to do as those sources aren't used more than once, but ref on Lnysey's is used for characterisation and for the Silas stuff and reception. Maybe stacking would work but then it'd become unclear who said what and which source corresponds where. Hey, i missed the reply about the Darren scan, whenever you get chance that'll be great. Out of the current cast, which characters do you think need improving or their own article? Esther has been their over 18 months but she doesn't seem to have done much, same with Dodger, he's been at HO for a while but doesn't seem to have done much, i did start a sandbox ages ago for Dodger. I think Ash and Phoebe need their own articles soon, they should have enough notability, especially with Ash's huge meningitis storyline. Small run downs of cast included with big roles mentioned in sources - maybe focus on cast brought in that aren't just from the main series - cast specially for the show. Celia Stewart returning?

Just to let you know about the source you added about Celia Stewart supposedly returning to Home and Away: A few hours after someone stumbled across that and the internet went crazy, the page was edited to remove the reference to her returning in 2012. So, it's currently up in the air as to whether it was inaccurate and someone changed it when they realised or whether the powers that be didn't want it leaked too soon and asked them to take it down. Well I have not carried out a GA review before - but here are a few suggestions that may help:

• See if you can make the SL section shorter - in my experience reviewers are more impressed by concise plot sections
• I would rename recognition in the reception section 'Accolades'
• Check the article for over link - I noticed Phyllis is actually linked three times, Nick is linked three times, Brad Carlton is linked four times etc.
• Make sure you are consistent with including actor name after mentioning the character for the first time - see the storyline section
• In in the caption supporting Jae Jones' quote, include which storyline she is referring to
• In the reception section you have criticism of the character and awards - but no positive analysis
• Checklinks reveals that you have some link rot - some of the sources you included are no longer available. That would need addressing.Rain the 1 19:38, 11 July 2012 (UTC)

Ryan Lee

We seem to be entering an edit war on this subject which I suspect neither of us want, although we rarely seem to come to an agreement when we start these dialogues. Let's have a go, though. You seem to have decided Ryan was a regular based on an old annual you bought. I seem to remember a year or two ago you insisted Penn Graham was a regular because it said so on the official site, when he was clearly a short term villain who'd leave as soon as his storyline was over and that's exactly what happened. What happened with Ryan was: He came in in 1991, stayed for less than a month, then left. He came back early the next year, stayed for five months, his longest stint, then left again. Then he came back for a six week stint at the end of the year, after which he hasn't been seen. He was basically just someone who was there to stir up trouble between Nick and Roo. Now, maybe he did sign a two year contract. Maybe plans changed (there are all sorts of rumours about the initial plans for his last stint), maybe, as the quotes you've found suggest, reading between the lines, he was unhappy with the way the character was developing and quit. But he was listed as a guest character for the whole of his time on the show. I can't prove it because I don't have a copy of the episodes. I looked around briefly online and found this from a defunct fansite which gives an interesting take on things. I'm just worried that if you add Ryan on it'll set a dangerous precedent. When I first found that list, people were adding on all sorts of characters who weren't regulars (Angie Russell, Dom Moran, Sam Holden, Melody Jones, Cam Reynolds) and Ryan doesn't qualify any more than them, whatever your source says. I took it upon myself to police the list and make sure it stayed confined to those who were identified as regulars in the opening titles or closing credits and signing a contract doesn't qualify: The guy that plays Danny Braxton has signed a six month contract but that doesn't make him a regular. Well that fansite says McDougall signed for six months - but the Official Home and Away annual also states that casting directors scouted him and he was offered a two year contract. Not featuring in the opening credits doesn't really matter - we do not know the real reason behind that. I wouldn't worry about Melody, Sam etc - we can prove they were not regular characters. If there is a source to suggest otherwise (not a fansite obvs) then they cannot be added on the basis of someone's opinion. I have left Josh out because the evidence isn't as strong as for Ryan - because they did not comment on Mitsak's contract.. but I'm going to be digging for info on him because it seems interesting.Rain the 1 12:27, 28 July 2012 (UTC)

To be honest, I think the opening credits are the best judge of who the production team at the time considered to be regulars and who they didn't. They're more closely involved with the show than the people who write the annuals. Even if you can come up with an official source who considered Ryan a regular, you can't ask each and every production bod on the show who they classed as a regulat and who they didn't. I seem to recall publicity material when Melody came back stated she was now a "permanent" character but, like Ryan, she was gone in a few months. The early years are littered with characters like Andrew Foley and Stacey Macklin who were a permanent presence on the show for a long time (and had more storylines and more background than Ryan) but weren't classed as regulars. I think you need a hard and fast rule about what makes someone a regular and to stick to it. Not an expert on 1991, I'm watching it for the first time with the current 7Two repeats, but as far as I know Josh was a short-term villain who had a couple of brief stints and I don't think there's any way he could be considered a regular. Sorry, I was totally unaware that it had to be approved first. It does seem ludicrous that some people would assume Rita Tanner's WP:COMMONNAME to be 'Rita Sullivan' when she's arguably better known as 'Rita Fairclough'. If I had suggested changing the articles to the iconic names they had in the '70s then you would think it was ludicrous, just as I personally believe keeping the old names is. Considering ITV and the media are only using the names that appear in the official end credits, it is odd that the old names are being retained particularly when a redirect to the article with the current name can be provided for those searching under the old name. I've started a discussion on the talk page of the Coronation Street Project page, which I assume is the right area for this?

Hey, Raintheone. In October 2011, you rated this article Start-class. But carefully assessing it, isn't it more of a B-class article? It does need a little tightening and can assuredly be expanded further, real-world content-wise, than what was possible at the time I significantly fixed it up in 2008, but I'm not sure that I'd call its current state Start-class. Maybe that's because I view "Start-class," with regard to such articles or individual character articles, as representing articles that are only plot -- as in they don't have sections on creation, casting, writing, or reception. Well I do believe more information could be added. I think a lot of weight was given to certain sources which contribute to much of the articles content. Some parts need personalising such as who they spoke to at The Sun, Digital Spy and AfterElton. The actors didn't pick up a copy of The Sun or log onto the websites and start talking. The plot section is too long. Ref's could do with a tidy. Image has a poor rationale. Lead section is a little thin and doesn't fully reflect the article. There is a redundant header in the "Background" section titled "Writing and portrayals". Actor names are not included for anyone other than JP & Craig. I just did not believe it was B class sorry. B class is an article with more than this article cureently offers, and I don't beleive it would fare well at GAN which would be the next step. Oh, I agree with most of your assessment. I'm not sure how the "Writing and portrayals" heading is redundant, though, I must state. Also, what do you mean by "Actor names are not included for anyone other than JP & Craig."? I know that the article isn't GA material, and keep in mind that I significantly fixed it up back in 2008, when I was still a fairly new Misplaced Pages editor. My editing has improved a lot since then. But I just can't see it as Start-class. Like I stated, that likely has to do with Start-class usually representing such character/couple articles that don't have any or very little real-world material. Cast list sourcing

Hi Rain, thanks for your input on the GH cast page. I was wondering if you could help explain which sources are/aren't needed on cast pages. I poked around some of the UK soap lists and they seem to only have them on the upcoming changes, which has also been suggested on the GH page. Todd Manning article yet again

Hey, Raintheone. I need an extra pair of experienced, non-fancruft eyes on this article again (as in other than mine). Mind being those pair of eyes? One of the editors, one of the few who knows what shouldn't be in the article, quit earlier this month. The article recently underwent extensive vandalism, and there is a newly registered editor -- Rahdrecus90 -- who helped revert a lot of the recent vandalism...but no doubt has a lot to learn about how things work here. He or she has already frustrated a different editor with an infobox matter at a different article. I left a Welcome template on Rahdrecus90's talk page, which, of course among other things, briefly explains that he or she should visit Misplaced Pages:WikiProject Soap Operas to learn more about contributing to soap opera articles. Hey, the Jakob Chialton thing comes from this tweet by the babies family, we know the baby is called Jakob from a Jennifer Metcalfe interview on DS and she retweeted that image, and there pics of Jakob with Metcalfe so the account is real and definitely Jakob's family, could we use that as a source for his name or would it have to be something concrete? We know his name is Jakob from a DS article, Metcalfe said so. The account is real too, i'm 100% sure, it is followed by Metcalfe, Merna, Barber-Lane and Norbury whose accounts e4 link to, so we know they are real too. I'd be pretty worried for the babies safety if someone could find that many personal images online. Small question, not really important, but on the rating scales for the HO wikiproject how should we class Top importance and High importance? Surely Hollyoaks Later would be top importance and maybe other spinoff pages. In the rating scale, which i think i copied over from EastEnders it says characters who are significant and have appeared for over 10 years as High importance, but characters like Jacqui, Mercy, Myra, Nancy, Rhys and Amy who appeared for about seven years and had big storylines should be there too. Could be Tony, Steph, Darren, Jack, Frankie, Mandy, Cindy are high because they are long term. Luke, Claire, Hannah, Justin, John Paul and Craig all won awards so maybe those. I don't know if we should use the cameo section tbh, in 2012 and other years there have been loads of other cameos from celebs and they weren't under a separate header, maybe the lead should include that some characters aren't fictional and just people playing themselves. I'm going to work on the article about the new one as soon as I'm done with the dab run, yes. The thing about dabbing user talk pages and the like is that if I chose the wrong one in that particular instance, then it was pointing to the wrong place to begin with (since the topic at the plain title was the one from Neighbours, not the one from EastEnders). The reason why it's important to try to dab everything you can regardless of what namespace it's in, is because if you don't then those discussions will be linking to incorrect pages -- and that in turn may make the context confusing (such as if the link was in the context of a vandalism warning, so if we ever need to refer back to it at a later date then it'll be harder to find the vandalism.)

For the record, it's also not strictly essential to start a discussion before every page move; only ones where it might actually be ambiguous or controversial have to be discussed first. In a straightforward case where there's no real argument to be had and the main title is being converted to a disambiguation page rather than being arbitrarily claimed for the new topic, then as long as everything's fixed properly there doesn't actually have to be a debate about it. That's exactly what I think, which is why I like to use images from SoapNet. They are great; they capture the actor on set, or while playing the character. But others don't agree. They tend to use photoshoot pics, which is alright but it is misleading. It's okay, haha :) You don't have to. Yeah, this soap opera goes all out with special effects. And Maddie Morrison's death was definitely Final Destination-style. When searching for spoilers (not detailed ones, just minor ones), I saw a reader mention that she'd been killed off, but I couldn't fully believe it. That night/early morning, I'd been watching clips of her storyline featuring Esther, then decided to go look for spoilers. Once I read the death spoiler, I hurried back to watch more Maddie clips, and was still shocked because at first it looked like she was going to survive. Not to mention, the manner in which she died was jaw-dropping. Since watching the show again these past few months, I've mainly been watching the teenager storyline, but I plan to watch more of the show instead of just that group. Maybe contacting an admin would help? I think you can leave a note at the GAN talk page and ask for assistance. You can also request reassessment after the review is closed. I can certainly understand where you are coming from. You worked hard and put it forward as a good article candidate. You would expect the person who offers to review it to atleast complete it. In my opinion M.Mario is taking reviews in order to fill his user contribuations box placed on his page. You need a reviewer with more follow through. I only threw in the towel on Casey as she'd been left to languish for a number of years and had to before the deletion police swooped in or at the very least rerouted her, so that was a protection measure. Besides I haven't completely given up on her, I've just moved her SLs to the list until something materialises.

Also, Beth. I asked you a while back if you had some stuff on her for the '94 list. She's the only real key piece in that as pretty much everyone from that year has articles.

Quick question

Hi Rain, hope your well. Wondering if you know the answer or if this has been discussed already, or if I should just bring to wp:soaps. For fictional characters who are doctors, I know "Dr." is never included in the page title, but what about infobox header and when referenced in prose, other articles, lists, etc.? It seems to me that it should be in the lead sentence and not included everywhere (for one, the piped links drive me batty), but I do see it quite often so maybe it is common practice? The only policy-like answer I've found is here which says to avoid honorifics, but again may be referring to page names and it's just an essay. Anyway, just thought I'd see if you knew - thanks! Hello. I took part in a Jennifer Lopez song AFD discussion once. One editor suggested that background sections were being used to fend of GNG concerns. I have never looked at them the same way. I often read music related articles but hardly edit them. Popular music and singers attract "stans" and I am not much for the drama that comes with that. I have wrote one article about a song (with the help of User:JuneGloom07) and that is Black Heart (song). I think there was an effort to include relevant information only in the background section. So to see a number of issues in Hypnotico I thought it was worth starting a discussion - notice some drama was created as expected.Rain the 1 23:24, 28 December 2012 (UTC)

Looking at Black Heart (song), I think you were very successful in limiting the background section to only those things that are relevant to the song. If you ever submit that article at WP:GAN then let me know right away so I can review it.

Back to the Lopez song articles: at Talk:Invading My Mind/GA1, Lil-unique1 was the reviewer. Regarding the background section, Lil-unique1 said, "Everything bar the last two sentences is irrelevant. All of that stuff about the album belongs on the album's page. The background should be about how where and how "Invading My Mind" came about." The problem was never fixed, yet Lil-unique1 passed the article anyway, to allow it to be GA status. The infobox is similar to BLP infoboxes - potentially misleading? I dislike supercouple articles & I have previously been vocal about them. Hello!

Could you do me a favour please and keep a close eye on this user's contributions? Just about the only reason they've not been blocked for impersonating Kylie Minogue is because they have spelt their name slightly differently so it's pronounced slightly differently. The editors been reported to WP:UAA and another admin is reluctant to block because of the spelling of the name. When I've looked the editor has only made one edit but it has been to an actresses page which is now deleted. I'm just worried if they come back and edit other actors/actresses pages then people may start to think this is Kylie Minogue and in that case they would have to be blocked. Could you please help me keep an eye on them and if they edit again file a report at WP:UAA?

I personally think, to keep with the consistency of other proceeding articles and to keep with the consistency of generally all soaps that have character lists/articles by year, the title should be changed. I am a freelance journalist who has over 10 years of experience working for the BBC and national publications. Digital Spy often uses other sources for their articles and the person writing the articles does not essentially mean they have conducted the interview so correct citing of information is needed.

Misplaced Pages is supposed to expand on articles and creating a through encyclopedic information which should go into greater detail as possible about the topic. And provide adequate context for storyline plots(especially to those who are accessing information for the first time.) The edits I have made actually expands on what was a poorly edited article. It did not provide context and some sections are fundamentally lacking on Misplaced Pages's quality scale. To which featured article status would "Professional, outstanding, and thorough; a definitive source for encyclopedic information." removing key information reduces the quality of the article and in the terms of the quality scale will find readers "wanting" more, than quick summary's of information. Articles on wikipedia are supposed to be as definitive and detailed as possible. Fan-sites often do not go into great depth.

Use of incorrect terminology also undermines the quality of the article. I actually made the article better by adding appropriate context for example she did not fall into a coma she was placed in an induced coma. No context given to a new reader or someone accessing the information for the first time. I will not engage in an edit war as it is not appropriate. Will say the article does not use correct terminology nor does it cite articles correctly which makes this whole article unsafe and prone to problems. Lastly Digital Spy is owned by Hearst who share resources, that does not mean the journalist actually conducted the interview, cite sources correctly. For example "quoted on digital spy" instead of naming specific journalists. Again look at the scope of wikipedia which is supposed to be and encyclopedia with detailed information the article does little to move that remit forward. You can have a balance between being necessarily detailed when needed as in this case it is. Its a shame that the basics of my profession are flagrantly ignored.

I tried googling it a bit, and i think for both men to be on the birth certificate it has to go through a court ruling, so that wouldn't have happened so either one or neither of JP and Craig would be legally registered as the father. FFS! No! I'm gutted, i love Annalise. I have not made any threats. I alerted other editors to the fact that if anyone attempts to censor - they are well within their rights to alert an admin. And I am confused as to why a fan of a soap opera should be more sensitive. I openly state on my talk page that while I am a fan, I have little time for fan values. Creation of stub TV Series articles

Hello J Bar. I could not help but notice that you appear to be creating many articles for TV series - without much content. Infact they are basic efforts. I do not mean to sound rude or anything - but surely a little more effort would benefit the articles? For instance Janet King (TV series) could have been better served in the actual Crownies article until more information becomes available. The choice of sources were not that great. I did notice some quite respectable sources have documented the spin-off with more information. Plus there was only the most basic information included. I was not aware that this is the correct procedure, to just create stubs. If anything it just creates problems for other editors? Hello, Raintheone. I am creating some of these new articles on TV series when the announcements are made and adding more information as it becomes available. I have found that if I kickstart these article, in most cases other editors will come along and provide a lot more information that they have gathered from various other sources. If I wait until I find more information on a particular subject, I may struggle to find the original information and that is a loss for the article. Sometimes cast announcements and details are released in dribs and drabs and it is a mammoth task to go back and track it down again six or twelve months later. IMO, Casey, having ducked deletion unlike Joey, who we dug up from the grave, could work with a restore rather than sandboxing her and a couple sources until something more concrete is laid down, ala Donna or we could go down the Sarah Thompson route. We're doing a helluva lot better than we were a while ago. When we got started with the lists there were only two, 2009 and 2011!

Well see - I have information for those in the 1995 list - but they are now stuck in a list. It means there isn't really motivation for me to add the information. Alex and Jo's entries could be so much more. The 1994 and 1996 could have a nice expansion too. While the 2007 list, there should be a lot of information out there because it is so recent. So think of it this way. We can argue that when there is no where to put the information for the article, we can impove the stub or restore for now, an article that may only have a few sources. So Alex could have had a few sources for now and wait until more is available.. There are more than two magazines with the actor I do not (yet) own.. but because he is in the list, I cannot really split him off. 2007 has sort of stalled due to Roman and the Campbells in sandboxes plus the missing info on Cam, Noel and Bruce. I reckon Alex shouldn't be split until everything's in place ala Haydn and the improvements you made to him. 1996 slowed down, tried scouring for Rachel and Kylie but they're banked in others. Maybe I could graduate them to hidden iboxes in the list as they were a big part of Jesse's story. And I tried to find some Terri stuff but that hit a brick wall. Hello. Well it depends on how notable they are. The longer a character has been on-screen doesn't necessarily determine whether they pass the WP:GNG. It is what they do that counts and the information and sources etc. If you demonstrate notability, such as an article with a whole load of sourced content rather than storylines, you really cannot go wrong.Rain the 1

1999 is going better than I thought it would, There's considerably less of a brick wall than with some others. I did a mild patchjob with Peta a few weeks ago, so she's not destined for list fodder. Edward, Judith and Ken on the other hand are pretty much screwed unless you have any additional.

Sandboxes piling up, eh? Well, Dan's practically done, as is Annie and all James needs is some reception, really. That might lighten the load.

It's the not the cakewalk 1989 or 1995 were. Most of the regulars from that period have their own articles anyhow (Nick, Mitch, Harry, Shauna, Peta). However Ken and Judith are my major wallbangers right now, but I still hold out a LOT more hope for them than Stephanie and Liam in '96. My prayers would be answered if there were SOME half-decent Phelan or Hruby interviews or development.

Edward, despite his brief stay was one of the more interesting teens of the late 90s, really surprised there isn't more on him out there. Well, I've been Tinkering with Annie today and I've gone about as far as I can with Miss-Goody-Two-Shoes (Leady stuff, v.little else). Hugo's giving me a minor headache, I'm unsure where to work the leftover sources. Roman's pretty much yours to do as you wish. I was also thinking about splitting Alex Bennett off at some point but unsure about everything being in place (leave that to you) and there might be one more source that takes Joanne out of the 1995 list.

As for the lists; 2007 has some promise after June's put Geoff's article on hold and suggested to me that I put him in the list, which. 1999 has slowed down as I cannot find anything worthwhile for Ken and Judith. Hyde, Henry, Felix and Peter are who are holding holding up 2004. And 1994, as mentioned just needs Beth/Pearen info. She's the missing piece of that jigsaw.

You removed both Mick & Nana Flo from the "deaths" on the Hollyoaks page, didn't they first appear in the main show before appearing on the Later series? For example Mick appeared to get Joel's mother back and Nana Flo meeting Cheryl to tell her about the illness. To go over everything I marked as "imperfect" or not up to criteria (I did this here, as the original GA nom discussion is closed):

Prose: I give several examples where the wording is off and I either had to reread or consider what the text was, and a few examples of bad grammar. I felt that the article needed a very thorough edit, and possibly a rewrite to get its basic grammar up to par. But, a good article needs more than just good grammar. It needs to flow, be well-organized and connected, and simply be "very well-written." It would have been a pretty big stretch to think that could be finished in a week, but I likely would have asked, and given you the time to fix it if you wanted it. But- that wasn't all that was wrong.

Refs: The article cites IPC-Media, Black 2009 (that one for three refs in a row), Big!, and Inside Soap for over half of its sources, on top of the fact that there were only 31 sources. Most TV GAs have 45-60, varying sources.

Focus: I think the fact that Bancks (which could be greatly expanded by information in Tug O'Neale, *hint* *hint*) already has a wiki article makes it so you don't need quite as much about him. I'm on the fence about that and it wasn't a big part of my decision.

Images: Again, not a big deal, but I would have liked either a cast photo, or a screenshot that showed an entire scene. (It could have had a link to the episode...) It just would have made the article that much better.

You can still make those improvements, and renominate the article in the coming months, if you want. I'm sorry you didn't find my original critique to be very helpful and I hope this cleared it up a little. LMK if you have any other questions. PrairieKid (talk) 00:00, 6 April 2013 (UTC)

Now, I know that TV Characters generally do not have as many sources as a normal article, so I just looked it up on some character GAs to clarify. I could not agree more that Misplaced Pages is a collaboration. But I view your contributions to the collaboration borderline disruptive. I am confused because you have been on Misplaced Pages for over seven years. It is one sentence stubs when more information is actually available. You also throw in bare references which are no help in cases of link rot. Surely you know how to format a standard citation after seven years. It cannot continue for another seven years so I will be contacting an admin to offer advice on improving your contributions. If more information is available, I do my best to include it. However, there are only so many hours in every day. How one earth is creating a new article with basic information, which other editors can then expand, be disruptive to anyone? Surely you must have better things to do than dobbing people in for not instantly creating articles to your standard. I do not want to prevent you from making contributions. I am suggesting that instead of making three stubs for another editor to clean up - why not concentrate on improving one article. Then that is one less editor will have to clean up and concentrate on another project. I think one quality article is better than three stubs with one sentence. It is not to my standard, it is a standard accepted by the general community. I suggested it was disruptive for this reason. It distracts other editors - like I came across Blair Venn yesterday which you created without any sources - I spent some time to add a couple of sources because it was an easy target for a PROD. It needs work, but atleast there are some sources proving notability. I obviously have better things to do than "dobbing" on editors, such as creating and improving articles. That's exactly what I'm trying to do but you have to appreciate that some editors don't have as much time as you do, to devote to editing. Real life gets in the way. Half the time I'm fighting battles with other editors on wikipedia who want to revert or delete my contributions. Some users on here seem to treasure Anemone Projectors and treat him like a god. Why does he deserve this sort of praise? I mean, he hardly ever does anything except lurk around Misplaced Pages, and randomly pop up with a (sometimes rude and insulting) comment and go again.
