use your brain first, accuse people of vandalism then
you and your admin friends are vandalising; im editing.
- Your blog is not an appropriate link; it is even less appropriate given that your latest entry is a rant about Misplaced Pages. Please consider these things in future edits. Thanks. Wafulz 23:48, 23 June 2006 (UTC)
Ottawa Senators
The reason why I explained the goal was cause:
- It was an overtime
- It was the series ending goal
- It was the last game the sens played
- It was a heart-breaker, being shorthanded.
and about the scouting report thing, I made it cause there was one of Kaberle, too. I like adding little things cause I want to write everything I know, and it gives out more information.
- I understand that it was a series-ending goal and was significant in that right, but we don't need to know every detail about it- the fact that it was shorthanded and it was on a breakaway should be enough. We don't really need to know that he cut in and put it in the left half of the net (or right half, from the attacking perspective).
- The Hasek scouting report had a lot of problems with things like the Neutral Point of View and some flimsy facts. I was a bit harsh to revert the whole thing though- I probably should've left it for someone else to edit and clean up. On that note, you can check out TSN's player profile to see how they say things on a scouting report. Wafulz 23:52, 16 July 2006 (UTC)
OK. The scouting reports are also on sportsnet.ca, just a note. I'm a sens fan, so this year I watched him play almost every game until he got injured and I read other people's comments on the web, so that's why I wrote it.
Re:Blocking 24.181.70.227
Hi! Thanks for your message. I was certainly considering making it longer. We typically give an IP/user a couple chances to reform, but I'll agree with you that this person has shown no interest in adding productively to the encyclopedia. I'll extend it to a full week (we typically don't block IP's indefinitely), and if he tries the same edits immediately following that, we'll extend it to at least a month or so. EWS23 (Leave me a message!) 17:52, 20 July 2006 (UTC)
- Sure, no problem. I've made the block 8 days now. On the previous block, I allowed account creation and blocked only anonymous users, which is as soft as we can make blocks. This time I have blocked all users on that IP and prevented account creation. However, we don't know yet whether there are other good contributors on that IP, perhaps using long established usernames. We should find out in the next 8 days, seeing if a legitimate contributor asks to be unblocked on that IP address. If so, it'll make our jobs a little tougher; if not, then hopefully we won't hesitate to block for a longer period of time at the next transgression. I'm keeping an eye on that IP address user talk page, but I was fortune to be the one to come across this case again. If the vandalism starts up again and someone else blocks for a shorter period of time, feel free to contact me, and I'll try to work it out. EWS23 (Leave me a message!) 18:10, 20 July 2006 (UTC)
Eart 2025
Well, I prodded a whole lot of web games because there's alot of them on wikipedia that I think are barely notable and shouldn't be here. So I came across earth 2025 and I didn't see anything indicating that it was notable but I did see that it had alot of players and had been around for a while so just I slapped that notability banner on. But great that it won a webby award but you should really add that to the article. Also I'd suggest making it a little more encyclopedic and a little less advertising and game guide. It's not bad but I think it could be better. Well anyways, banner gone. --Peephole 03:47, 28 July 2006 (UTC)
I don't there's something like a game guide, but suggest taking a look at some other articles on browser based games like Urban_Dead. For the Earth 2025 article I would mainly focus on doing away with the lists and tables. --Peephole 16:29, 29 July 2006 (UTC)

Hasek
He needs to be blocked for vandalizing and 3RR. I'm not entirely sure how to request the block, however. scsgoal31 16:23, 3 August 2006 (UTC)

WP:AIV
Hi, the two editors you reported to WP:AIV aren't simple vandalism of the sort that we normally report to WP:AIV. AIV is normally for clear cut cases like page blanking, interjection of random profanity in articles etc. I've therefore taken the liberty of moving your report over to WP:ANI where is more appropriate. Jugnu Mohsin
Hi, I understand Misplaced Pages policies better now. Previously I thought that because we're not supposed to contribute original research, we were meant to copy and paste articles from elsewhere. Trouble was I didn't know how to cite where I was getting my information from.
Anyway, I now understand that this is against the rules. I've updated Jugnu Mohsin's profile. All the writing is my own, all the facts are documented and known to be true, the opinions are stated as such. Please allow that to now appear as an article. Thanks, Imaduddin 13:22, 5 August 2006 (UTC)
Re: MAP and Simon Botes
Hello, Wafulz. Thank you for the notification; I must have missed the second article after closing the AfD. Both are now deleted. Thanks again, Sango123 14:28, 6 August 2006 (UTC)

This guy is still at it. Please check his recent "contributions" to wikipedia, and he is still inserting references to "judaism" everywhere. He should get permanently blocked. -- Dullfig 21:36, 6 August 2006 (UTC)
Dead Runners Society
Hello. I am the author of the Dead Runners Society page -- and live in Toronto, btw. Anyway, I have temporarily reverted the images to their previous size. (Yours come out too small -- especially the DRS Italia one) and also throw off the whole layout of the page. I agree that the images in my version are a bit too large -- but would ask you to whole off editing for a few days. I am in the process of getting the original graphics -- and should be able to manipulate them more easily. Thanks!
Jugnu Mohsin
Hey, Wafulz, please take down the article that was a copy and paste job (sorry, I didn't know that was against the rules) and put in its place the article that is in the temporary site. Thanks, 202.163.68.111 14:40, 9 August 2006 (UTC)
Plymouth Police Explorers Post
Who are you and why do you think this article should be deleted. http://www.mnleexplorer.org/featured.htm We are a real post. Check your facts a little better. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Kob0724 (talk • contribs) .
- I never said the post wasn't real- it's just not particularly notable or verifiable. Also, please sign your posts. --Wafulz 04:39, 11 August 2006 (UTC)
Vandalism
Well, apparently in that discussion, making productive discussion is also unproductive, as it seems to be ignored in favor of zealous delete comments that don't even make any sense. Ameise -- chat 21:36, 11 August 2006 (UTC)
Misplaced Pages:Articles for deletion/Anirvan Ghosh

Witch Hunt?
First SWGEmu, and now into the black. You seem to be on a role, travelling the Misplaced Pages and hunting articles to use non-policy reasoning to delete new articles. Misplaced Pages is not a witchhunt. Zeekthegeek 02:25, 14 August 2006 (UTC)
- Thanks for the quick reply. I'm just a little bit tired and upset over how hasty the encyclopedia in general seems to be to delete articles, especially those I've contributed to. It really..gets on my nerves, I'm sure you understand. SWG Emulator is really frustrating, because I don't think our points there have ever been acknowledged by the pro-deletion folks. Zeekthegeek
I'm Sorry
Hey there. Thanks for the message about the Eagleblood entry I am sorry for deleting it, yet, and I know i haven't any real way of proving it, but I am eagleBlood. And I know that still isn't any grounds to delete it, but a friend of mine had recently told me that he posted that, and I don't believe that there is enough there to warrant a wiki entry. I might in future want to re-edit this entry when I am ready. I'm am sorry that you consider it vandalism, I will try to be more considerate in future. eagleBlood releases will soon be available at www.polysypher.com, my netlabel. If you have any other enquiries, please e-mail me at polysypher@gmail.com Thanks for your input =)
re the new article on Jugnu Mohsin
click on the temporary article on her. I think this will remain temporary until you delete the first one and don't approve the temporary one.
it reads as follows. i wrote it.
Born of a wealthy family with shrewd business acumen – her brother and father run a family owned leading food company ; her highly successful businessmen maternal uncle helped start up LUMS, now Pakistan’s most prestigious management sciences university – Jugnu Mohsin was inspired by husband Najam Sethi to combine her money and cutting wit for civic purposes: to hold the Establishment accountable. In 1984 Najam had been arrested under martial law in for releasing books with his book publishing firm Vanguard Books. The press hardly took notice and the couple were determined to set up their own paper.
In May 1989 the Lahore based couple did just that, thus establishing Pakistan’s first independent English newsweekly The Friday Times which has since been needling successive governments with its outspoken equal opportunity criticism.
This, allies would maintain, is what lead to one eventful May 1999 when Sethi was dragged from his bedroom in the middle of the night and imprisoned in jail, where he was held for 25 days. Sethi’s piercing criticism of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, it is alleged, what the root cause – making the matter a freedom of press issue.4
Jugnu Mohsin rallied up support from Western allies - Amnesty International, the Committee to Protect Journalists, World Bank President James Wolfensohn, and US State Department spokesman, James Rubin – to exert pressure on Sharif’s regime for the immediate release of her husband. The sedition charges were finally dropped on June 2, but not without further government harassment, including calls for Sethi to be stripped of his status as a Muslim and have his name taken off voter lists.
In 1999 the couple were recognised for their bold contributions to journalism and both were recipients of the Committee to Protect Journalist’s International Press Freedom award.
In addition to being the Managing Editor and Publisher of The Friday Times, Jugnu Mohsin launched GoodTimes as its Publisher and Editor in January 2005.
Jugnu’s witty satirical pieces at the back page of The Friday Times in the form of spoofs of incumbent administration and opposition. Her current spoof columns ‘Ittefaq Nama’ and ‘Mush and Bush’ poke fun at ex-Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and Presidents Bush and Musharraf.
Jugnu will be soon publishing a collection of the profiles of Pakistani luminaries that she wrote for The Friday Times’ features section in a book. Ever tireless, the husband-wife duo are also set to launch a television network broadcasted from Dubai to the Subcontinent.
Jugnu Mohsin received her LLB degree from Cambridge University. Before partnering her husband professionally, Jugnu was a practicing lawyer and member of the Women's Action Forum.
