New People's Party (Korean: 새민중정당; lit. New People's Political Party) is a South Korean left-wing political party that is formed on 3rd September 2017. The original name was Dream of People (Korean: 민중의 꿈) as civic group, but it was changed to current name by July 2017. The party is planning to combine with People's United Party, also a left-wing party. Both NPPP and PUP are created by the members from Unified Progressive Party, which dissolved in 2014. The party gained 2 seats out of 300 from National Assembly in 2016, and both of them are elected by Ulsan citizens.
