Until then I will continue to fight for the recognition that OGI, now OHSU West Campus, is within the city of ]. I know the address says Beaverton, but the USPS does not make city boundries. If that were the case there would be a city of Aloha, and there is no such city in Oregon. They have a post office, and a high school (part of the Beaverton SD), but that's it. According to OHSU it is in Hillsboro. According to maps on the City of Beaverton's web site it is in Hillsboro. According to maps by the county it is in Hillsboro. And if you were on campus there and called 911, Hillsboro police would show up (actually the sheriff might show up if they are closer). But most of that area including the old Tanasbourne mall (where Target/Nordstrom Rack) was annexed by Hillsboro back in the late 1980s. I know, I lived near there at that time and thought it was odd that Hillsboro would want all that undeveloped land. Turned out pretty good for them. According to OHSU it is in Hillsboro. Of course the point is sort of moot with OGI moving to OHSU's new South Waterfront campus over the next 7 years.
