Evidence

• User His_excellency (talk · contribs) was banned for 6 months on 2006-09-03 as a result of this ArbCom case. Prior to July 2006 he edited as Amibidhrohi (talk · contribs).
• User Shams2006 (talk · contribs) was created on 2006-09-08, five days after the case closed. H.E. has a history of switching accounts, but not using two accounts at the same time; he switched from Amibidhrohi (talk · contribs) to His_excellency (talk · contribs) in June 2006 after a long block, so a switch to Shams2006 (talk · contribs) would be in character.
• Shams immediately began editing the same handful of articles that were H.E.s favorite haunts, sticking mostly to the talk pages for now. He wasn't that active until about a week ago. (For the record, H.E. still has almost three months left on his ban.)
• Some of the articles I'm talking about are Criticism of Islam (and its subarticles), Dhimmi, Council on American-Islamic Relations, and Misplaced Pages:WikiProject_Islam and its subpages. A large majority of Shams' edits were to these articles, and a large majority of H.E.'s edits were to the same articles.
• For evidence, please see Shams' relatively short user contributions list: . Compare this to H.E.'s editing. Here is a page of H.E.'s editing history that clearly shows his pattern of edits to the first three articles listed above: (for Main), (for Talk). And here is a page showing his pattern of edits to the Islam WikiProject: .
• Shams edits with the same POV as H.E. did, to counter suspected anti-Islamic bias, rightly or wrongly. His use of language is very similar. His edit summaries are verbose in the same way H.E.'s were, and his talk page posts are sometimes uncivil and sometimes make accusations of anti-Islamic bias, as H.E. did.

I think the timing of Shams2006's creation (5 days after H.E. was officially banned by ArbCom) and the fact he immediately began editing like an experienced user would, in the same places as H.E. edited, with similar looking and sounding posts, make this case relatively clear-cut. I request that Shams2006 be indef banned as a sockpuppet of a banned user. - Merzbow 21:44, 19 December 2006 (UTC)

Thanks for that nice sticker on my user page. His Excellency has a very interesting user page which I saw before. I think he makes a good case and I saw his postings. I saw his page while observing some articles here, but I am not him. If your big case against me is that I and him both think Fox News is stupid and biased, its a weak case. Many people feel that same way about Fox News which is one of the highest ranking news channels popular for its pro-Republican bias. Almost every Muslim in America (and many who are abroad)thinks Fox News is pushing a crusade against Arabs and Muslims through misinformation. Im just outspoken, thats all. If this person and I feel the same way on the same issues we are the same person? Ridiculous. Using this method if you search enough you can "prove" I am many other people too. Your user page says you eat cheese. I eat cheese too! That must make me Merzbow too then. I edited rarely before using no account which is possible on Misplaced Pages, and I decided to make an account to keep track of things.I dont know what is so complicated about editing that you make a big deal that I edit like an experienced user. It just takes a few minutes to learn how to edit. Anyway, this is very amusing. Shams2006 02:03, 20 December 2006 (UTC)
