== No mention of recent backlash? == | |||
Why is there no mention of recent backlash that Bhatt has received from public and media publications? An entire section should be created adding each and every information such as how Bhatt has been a beneficiary of over the top Nepotism, stealing roles from other actresses by chasing directors while those actresses are still attached, her connection with Johar (which I had added few years ago after discussion but was secretly removed by the contributor of the article) and how Johar is single handedly responsible for her career. I am shocked to find that those additions were removed without any discussion and the lack of inclusion of new development.] | ] 17:49, 18 July 2020 (UTC) |

Scope Row in Filmography section
Hi, Cyphoidbomb, Krimuk2.0, Atlantic306. Is it necessary to have the films scope-rowed in the filmography section, which Ved tandon seem to prefer? I don't see any scope row in the FA status Akshay Kumar filmography. Is there any guideline for this? - Fylindfotberserk (talk) 15:44, 13 August 2019 (UTC)
- Although many filmography sections have this formatting, I personally don't see any value to it. If anything, it makes the titles slightly more difficult to read. And while I haven't run the calculations, I wonder if the black and blue text on the shadowed background allows for WP:ACCESSIBILITY. Cyphoidbomb (talk) 16:04, 13 August 2019 (UTC)
- @Cyphoidbomb: Yeah WP:ACCESSIBILITY. That was one of my primary concerns. I can't see it properly. - Fylindfotberserk (talk) 16:08, 13 August 2019 (UTC)
- Doing a quick check (and I don't know if the HTML background color is 100% correct), it looks like it passes accessibility, but I still don't see the aesthetic value. Cyphoidbomb (talk) 16:18, 13 August 2019 (UTC)
- It just doesn't look clear. Dark background makes the text/numbers less readable. There's a reason why vehicle number plates are mostly of light background color. - Fylindfotberserk (talk) 16:46, 13 August 2019 (UTC)

- Agree, if there is any colouring it should be light and clear, thanks Atlantic306 (talk) 18:07, 13 August 2019 (UTC)
- I agree with those above and certainly agree with Atlantic306s comment - I too routinely remove scope=row and scope=row from the tables and have done for yonks, I see no reason why we'd need all of the table being a lighter grey and one column being darker..... it looks awful imho. –Davey2010 18:12, 13 August 2019 (UTC)

- To be honest, I don't see a problem with either option. Krimuk2.0 (talk) 18:22, 13 August 2019 (UTC)
Thanks for your valued opinion Krimuk2.0, Was it really worth commenting here?. –Davey2010 18:33, 13 August 2019 (UTC)- I commented because I was pinged. Krimuk2.0 (talk) 18:34, 13 August 2019 (UTC)
- Struck, My sincere apologies Krimuk2.0, I thought you had the article on your watchlist so came from that, My apologies, –Davey2010 18:36, 13 August 2019 (UTC)
- It seems most people here prefer a lighter background. Will it be OK if I remove that now or we need more people to weigh in? - Fylindfotberserk (talk) 08:34, 14 August 2019 (UTC)

Remuneration issue
Despite her last release Kalank terribly bombing in the box office, how is she the highest paid actress? Gully Boy was entirely on Ranveer's shoulders with Sidhant Chaturvedi's supporting help, on contrast Alia's performance was limited to not more than an extended cameo. So how is Alia Bhatt the highest paid actress in 2019 with a mega-flop and a limited side-kick film? Is 2 year old Raazi film still the playing factor here in renumeration?
You can answer me @Krimuk2.0 here for the "subjective" points I raised in the editing summary.
"Firstly this is uncited. Secondly, on what parameters do you rank salaries of celebrities? Thirdly, if it is Forbes, let us be clear that celebrities dont openly disclose their remunerations and Forbes rank celebrity salaries on basis of their "Popularity index" which is honestly very subjective and disputedly not sufficient manner to calculate salary. An actress-producer like Deepika can very easily pay herself higher than other actresses in her productions irrespective of films success"
Even Kangana sent legal notice to Forbes for inaccurate calculation of remuneration on mere speculation of subjective popularity and not actual wages. DarpSinghh (talk) 05:54, 26 February 2020 (UTC)
@Krimuk2.0 You didnt reply so far. Plus you don't let outsiders edit. DarpSinghh (talk) 15:35, 27 February 2020 (UTC)
Unless you provide a WP:RS that states that Forbes has incorrectly reported that Bhatt is the highest-paid actress in 2019, speculation or presumptions has no place here. Krimuk2.0 (talk) 16:09, 27 February 2020 (UTC)
