Luís Miguel Afonso Fernandes (born 6 October 1989 in Bragança), aka Pizzi, is a Portuguese footballer who plays for Atlético Madrid in Spain, as a forward.

Club Career

Early Career

Pizza started his career at local club Bragança, before moving to Braga in 2008. Whilst with the club, he experienced a number of loan moves, including to Ribeirão, Covilhã, and most notably to Paços Ferreira, where he played over fifty times in total. On 8 May 2011, Pizzi scored a hat-trick for Paços in a 3–3 away draw at Porto. This turned out to be the only home league game that the eventual champions failed to win during the 2010–11 season.

Atlético Madrid

On 30 August 2011, Pizzi moved to Spanish team Atlético Madrid on loan until the end of the year.
